  1. gotta say, cook looked pretty good in 3rd place.
  2. For anyone not watching, Bates just came second in a race at Cardiff. Well done to the lad, takes some doing!
  3. It was a lot closer than I had it down for - well done to Hopwood for scoring 4 with a broken foot. Hope King is okay after his fall.
  4. Hopefully, but our main aim is trying to beat the Bandits for most team changes in a season.
  5. We might not be too high in the league, but if there's anything we're in with a chance for, it's the pairs. Gutted i can't make it down there this year, but I hope the diamonds can do it this time round!
  6. It was a good showing on Sunday. Hopefully we won't need to make anymore reserve changes after this. Unfortunate to hear about Hopwood, he's becoming a decent reserve for the diamonds. Hope its not too serious. Bowtell may not be a world beater, but scoring 4 on your debut at Brough is a good way to get noticed, and obviously, it paid off for him.
  7. I actually got the riders confused, and thought Jorgensen was the one stuck under the fence.
  8. From where I was looking, it certainly looked like they were on the speedway track. It makes sense with the rain.
  9. We already beat Berwick in the championship this season, and I think it was by 20+ points. Even without Lambert and Worrall, the guests will probably do great. A win seems more than likely. Would prefer the tigers pairing As for weather, it's only a continued light drizzle. I saw and heard the tractors out on the track (I live close, i didnt travel )so I imagine they're doing their best to keep the meeting on. Hopefully it should still be on.
  10. Okay sure, so there are enough riders to go around. The transfer window seems like a big step forward, and would really shake up the new league. But then you have to consider that if it's now one big league, when does each season start and end, providing each team faces another team home and away? That'll take a longer period of time than April to October, meaning it will have to stretch into winter. I imagine riding in thick snow probably isn't too good. Added onto this is the fact that if a lot of meetings get postponed, they'll end up running into the NEXT season so they'd end up not happening. Transfer Window = Yes One League = No
  11. You must be f****ing joking. Both teams rode bad AWAY. We won by 21 at home. That's more than the comets could handle. Face it, we were the better team over both legs. And as for worst and unridable, Glasgow beat us and the monarchs got a draw. Just cause you had one of the worst performances this season doesn't mean the track is unridable, just your team was bad.
  12. i think the main reason the atmosphere was so loud was because not many diamonds fans thought we would actually come back and win on aggregate, I had an entire group of worky fans in front of me, and the closer we got to winning, the more the diamonds fans drowned them out.
