  1. Gilkes was flying tbf. Palin rides Scunthorpe and Belle Vue well. Now back at reserve at Scunthorpe but unfortunately crashed tonight. James Shanes is still on the rising star list surely must be a better option than both
  2. If that's the two options then yes. Neither are good enough
  3. Yep spot on. Especially given the extra strength in the league now
  4. Where there's a will there's a way there's riders out there and we may well require 2 of them plus a couple of double uppers
  5. Very true however we shouldn't be expecting them to come in as heat leaders. One should be at reserve as Basso is more than good enough to step up at 2 or 4
  6. I've said several times I'd go for Kye Thomson, Sedgmen always used to ride the showground well when at Edinburgh back in the day but so did Jake Allen who actually is far better than his average in my opinion. It's top end riders we need however along with one or two of these others
  7. Plus the following who don't have a premiership team as yet (some for good reason) Kye Thomson Justin Sedgmen Jake Allen Ricky Wells Broc Nicol Simon Lambert Kasper Andersen Kyle Newman Ash Morris Cam Heeps Zach Cook Ben Cook James Shanes Claus Vissing Tero Aarnio Theo Pjiper Zaine Kennedy
  8. Good shout. Bjerre, Thorssell (did sign for Panthers in the championship), Thomsen, Robert Lambert
  9. Firstly Chris Harris was sensational tonight and worth the admission money alone. Well done to wolves on the win Nicholls, Andersen, Ostergaard and Jenkins 9+1 I'm sorry that is embarrassing. MPT isn't a number 1 but is a good consistent rider at this level but should be a 3 or 4 Basso is a talent suffered some bike issues tonight which would've seen him score double figures otherwise Other than Harris, Basso and MPT the rest sadly aren't good enough any longer. After last season I hate to say and witness it on track but maybe it was time for Dad's Army to bow out on a high as legends like Bjarne did. The season is pretty much over unless we can make 3-4 changes to improve the team and hit some top form. With rider shortages it's unlikely to happen I'd imagine.
  10. I'd say that's spot on. The championship is easier
  11. Quite simply Nicholls, Ostergaard and Jenkins have to be the first out the door.
  12. He has come back over with a point to prove for sure. In our premier League days he always rode the showground well for Edinburgh. We have also seen the gap that has widened between the two leagues so have to be careful. Could Jacob Thorssell be an option? Rob Lyon's interview suggests team changes may be in the offering but he doesn't want to talk about it quite rightly
  13. Another solid 8+1 for Kye Thomson I'd make my move personally
  14. I'll mention him again as soon as he's fit Kildemand will be in there, I'd be shocked if he's not. He's already agreed terms with Lynn and I'm sure they'd prefer to keep NKI for the season
