Even in a watered down league Ostergaard isn't a number 1. The only way he can fit in for me is in the middle order and that relies on us finding some real bargains
He's been around for a long while now and is still only a low 5 pointer at PL level. He strikes me as if he'd be a top team manager personally. leadership is a great skill to have
All of a sudden that looks weak with Ostergaard at 1.
He's very similar to Morton Risager at Ipswich tbh. He has some good meetings and has some real stinkers. I just don't see him in a side that wants to win trophies even more so at number 1.
I can see most teams using a couple of 2/3 pointers at reserve and build the main body.
What has Ostergaard done to be worth another year? yes he has a good relationship with the promotion but that shouldn't guarantee year after year of team places.
It's time to be ruthless
I reckon Heeps would go well around the showground Who's the 3 point reserve? Take Grondal out and stick Branford in and that decent
I can just see weaker reserves across the league due to the reduced limit. I can't imagine anyone will go with a 5 pointer at reserve and instead go for a 2 pointer alongside a 3 pointer
Morris at reserve would be ok in a watered down league. I may also be tempted to use a 2 pointer like Phillips as the other reserve of on decent equipment
You simply can't use Ostergaard, Lambert and Grondal together in a team built to a 40 point limit in my opinion anyway and expect to be successful. you could maybe get away with the to lower point riders but they'd need to be capable of increasing their averages
He did have at least a month at reserve if I remember rightly.
The team was built wrongly from the start last winter being 2 points under the limit.
He was doing very well at reserve granted, but that's another serious injury he's recovering from too. I wonder how many pl clubs will be after him?
Good grief
I just can't see how they will improve their averages. Ostergaard went missing when it mattered and is inconsistent and Lambert is on a mid 5 and coming back from another bad injury
