  1. On a 7.46 average I can imagine there wouldn't be a shortage of takers on a 9 he wouldn't get another club Imo
  2. Starke has been doing well in the championship but struggling in the league above. What average would Tungate drop down on now?
  3. Starke dropped by Somerset, does this show the difference between the 2 leagues? Tungate also dropped, what would his average be?
  4. It also seems like it's a bit speedway for speedway's sake at times whethe your team wins, loses or draws. A competitive edge never hurt any team sport.
  5. Of course he should sick it up, he's supposed to he a professional sportsman. If he wants to succeed in speedway he'll have to perform in far more hostile atmosphere's than the EOES. He's riding to earn himself money and points for Newcastle nothing to do with entertaining Peterborough fans.
  6. Would say the Sheffield duo of Bates and bjerre would have to be favourites to guest?
  7. Yet we could afford Bjerre, Thomsen and Cook in our team last season? Poor team selection again nothing more, nothing less. Panic not, Friday night we will be without starke and BWD
  8. Ostergaard should never have been signed and that was said over the winter by many. Signed because he's friends with the promotion it seems. He's also riding in the easier number 4 position. Lambert shouldn't never have been signed on an inflated average especially after a long injury lay off. Bacon tbf we were all happy with this signing as out 2 pointer but has struggled. He needs to score 3 points a meeting Imo. Well done on winning heat 2 BTW. Hansen was the signing we all pretty much demanded due to his form when guesting for us last year, however so far he's a pale shadow of that rider and is never a number 5. As has been mentioned elsewhere Holder, Starke and BWD are more than doing their jobs and simply aren't getting the support.
  9. Where's the home track advantage gone? As I put on the other thread, teams used to fear coming to the showground on a deep and grippy track.
  10. Realistically can anyone really see this panthers side beating any of Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle or Ipswich over 2 legs? We in my opinion are in the second tier of teams in this league this year. As for the racing, yes it's always decent at the showground.but where's the home track advantage gone? Teams used to hate coming to Peterborough to face a team full of showground specialists on a deep and grippy track, now they love it.
  11. As has been said previously Holder,Starke,BWD have performed well, the rest meh
  12. That was said when the team was put together too.... awaits the comments saying that having a top number 1 in Cook last season didn't help either.
  13. So we're simply not good enough. No chance of top 4
  14. Our own riders to go unbeaten would be nice. This side was built not to lose at home....
  15. It really shouldn't make a difference and if it is jobs for the boys as suggested that's very wrong.
