We have 6.64 to play with to ensure Ostergaard isn't at number 1. This supposed obsession with strength in depth sides is weird as they all have the same problem of not enough heat winners.

It could be a needs must situation. Beggars can't be choosers and all that. What it would require is a water tight contract so that won't be happening.

It's not just the fault of the BSPA though. We have the same opportunity as all of the other clubs to attract riders to Peterborough yet we keep going down the same team building route with the same riders. The 6+ rule is stupid but even without it we'd have a seriously disjointed looking team. We showed last season that you need 2 proper heat leaders at 1&5 and it won us a trophy, yet what do we do? Where's the improvement in MPT, Ostergaard, Lambert and Grondal?
