Can't see how anyone can say any riders are currently "on form" if shanes and klindt can maintain high scores over 6/7 meetings then I would class that as form Poole look good tho and will have a strong reserve all season, belle vue as stated by someone else have a couple of really promising young guns who will develope further into the season and come play off time could be the difference, I'd rather have that but there are no guarantees in speedway

I'm not saying he is a poor choice if he carries on from last season I feel he could be equal to newman as there was no guarantee he would have increased his average even tho on paper in a watered down league he should. Apart from Hume the next big thing is Covatti, I watched Saturday just thinking if only he could gate lol this season he needs to be regularly in double figures home and away, he is super exciting to watch but that doesn't win you titles He is everyone's favourite but my fear is he may not progress but its early days I'll reserve judgement but give my opinion

What other options were there? James had a terrific end to last season, I think its not just the loss of Kyle to consider, if james can carry his form over, it will come down unfortunately to Hume and just how well he can progress which is alot of pressure, and what if a premiership team comes in for him? I honestly believe hume will be on a 4/4.5 average by the end of the season and that alone could make the difference

Leicester - Swindon 1.4.17
CookieIpswich replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think a Swindon away win to start the season depending upon which suitable guest is in place for Danny King. Doyle should be riding to at least a paid maximum -
Wolves and Poole should be heavily fined for both racing under the incorrect format or both results should be void and both clubs thrown out of the Elite Shield. What a mockery the sport has sunk too, can you imagine premier league football where Chelsea show 15 players in their starting line up to play against West Hams 11, oh but its been printed. BSPA cannot get any worse than this, lets close the doors, now to this dead sport, bunch of morons, piss up and brewery spring to mind Bspa could fall into the gran canyon full of titties and emerge sucking their thumbs, oh man I can't even sleep now

I can't see past a sheffield win with Newman missing King - 12/13 Covatti - 8/9 Heeps - 4/5 Schlein - 12/13 Hume - 3/4 Mountain - 3/4 Maybe could be close ish -

This Seasons Number 7s
CookieIpswich replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not good for their development at all only being in theory most likely to beat the opposite number 7. Maybe Premiership should have had a team building points limit of 54 with the lowest average rider not being able to fall below 4.5 meaning proper youngsters would have to work through the championship, could that of ever worked? 1. Chris Holder 12.53 2. Kyle Newman 6.31 3. Danny King 9.57 4. Lewis Kerr 5.98 5. Robert Lambert 8.92 6. Kai Huckenbeck 5.24 7. Josh Bates 4.89 Would this not give the premiership a stronger league and litter the championship with young talent? -
