  1. So are you going to give josh time to develope this time round or just chuck him like you did to Jye?
  2. I giggled at this, there team this year is as threatening as a junkie with no arms
  3. Shame that he won't be as good as a number 7 from the west!
  4. Mitchell Davey and Josh Pickering wonder if Mitchell will be on a 3 or a 2
  5. Clegg at No.2 will it work? Maybe at home he'll score 4 or 5 points inc. bonus but away I reckon he will struggle.
  6. With the new league line up meaning that every team will race home and away twice next season I can't wait to see this guys dummy flying around the Ashfield stands! Good team so far, but still not as good as a certain team from the west! Next to be announced? Josh Pickering Mitchell Davey Matthew Weathers / Theo Pijper / James Sarjeant?
  7. I think the following riders have a chance at being in the Monarchs line up for the 2017 season Sam Masters Max Clegg (As Border Roofing no longer sponsor the Monarchs) Aaron Fox ? Matej Kus Victor Palovaara Rene Bach ? Andrew Tully ? Mitchel Davey Theo Pijper Matthew Weathers Coty Garcia Josh Pickering I know some of these come as a surprise, but after some successful appearances at Armadale, and some with great potential, I could see the promotion putting some of these riders in there team as I can't imagine anyone else who would move to the Monarchs, even if they didn't have a championship club, however, as always in speedway, you never know. As always though the promotion at West Lothian will build a team which is very dominant at home, and pick up points away, which will always work for them as they have a very strong home advantage.
  8. I'm not a panthers fan myself, but I think the team looks brilliant, starke has kicked on in the past couple of seasons which is pretty good and BWD is decent around most places, and once again having a 5.02 reserve is brilliant, it then means you will always have someone strong, or someone who needs to gain a bit of confidence again at reserve. As always though, it's wether or not this team stays injury free which will determine wether or not they are play off contenders, but my the looks of things this team will be strong hpboth home and away, and will probably be able to keep a 100% home record also! This will be one of the many teams I will follow through updates next year and also through averages to see how the team is progressing!
  9. John Campbell first lost his hairline, now it's the services of Dan Bewley lol! Dan will be good, solid 7 or 8 points everywhere he goes! It really benefits him that he's tiny height wise making the bike easy to ride, and most of all he isn't afraid to pass and isn't hit headed either! Role on March!
  10. Can't wait to see Perry in action for Glasgow! Hope that the signing tonight is going to be good, but I am sure no matter who it is they won't let us down and the promotion will have good reason behind the move! Also really good that 2 of our Top 3 are Assets and one of our reserves is too but who does R Worral and Oerry belong to?
  11. Dan Bewley will probably be at Glasgow, Branford is a good shout though! I felt we should have singed him when Nike was injured but the reason we didn't was to do with the fact he scored nothing in the 2015 league final at ashfield. He'll put another point and a half on his avg. Whereever he goes, and might help you win at Armadale and Newcastle!
  12. Tom Perry isn't what I was expecting to be honest but on his average I am happy about things are looking to pan out for the team, as many are saying Bewley and Lunna seem to be the combination that would be best both home and away, however as always the club might have a few surprises in store for us! Everyone wants Bewley at the moment, and the way he finished of last season was brilliant, but the question is would that crash have thrown him?
  13. Hope Ricky Wells doesn't go to the dark side! I wonder now with the departure of Eddie, wether or not Clegg could be back next season, the guys put around a point on his average this year but I would be surprised if the promotion give him another shot! Rumour has it too that Bewley might be rescued from the Dump! also rumour has it some Edinburgh supporters star in hit comedies such as come fly with me, anyway there stadium is a first class joke anyway!
  14. Announcement at 8am Tomorrow, very interesting Recently heard Ben Morleys name floating around different places, wouldn't mind him at Glasgow, last time he was here got 5+4, got experience through the 3 leagues and is a team mate of Lawson at Lakeside which would mean that he is familiar with someone at Glasgow. Dan Bewley another possible prospect for tomorrow? Most likely it'll be Nike Lunna as he is an asset and a great stylish rider also! with these 3, I'd say Morleys got the potential to reach a 5.50 avg at the end of the season with Glasgow Bewley would probably reach a 6 and Nike a 6 also! Best part is all these lads are young and still learning!
  15. 1. Aaron Summers 2. Dan Bewley 3. Richie Worrall 4. Nike Lunna 5. Richard Lawson 6. ? 7. Jack Smith Maybe Bacon at No. 6, or Tom Perry? Who Knows The Other way it could go is having Rob Branford instead of Nike and Arthur Sissis in the main body to keep Mr Bewley at reserve 1. Summers 2. Sissis 3. Worrall 4. Branford 5. Lawson 6. Bewley 7. Smith or Bacon ...
  16. You never know in Speedway, you could end up with Sissis on a 3.79 for example last year Coty was on a 3.00
  17. 1. Aaron Summers 2. Nike Lunna 3. ? 4. ? 5. Richie Worrall 6. Dan Bewley 7. Jack Smith
  18. Masters wont be back, Clegg wont be back, Bewley wont be back! I wonder how the team is going to pan out!
  19. My team for Glasgow Next Year Would be - Steve Worrall 8.51 Richie Worrall 8.33 Rene Bach 7.32 James Sarjeant 5.80 Nike Lunna 4.86 Dan Bewley/Arthur Sissis 4.50**/3.79 Jack Smith/Luke Chessel/Tom Bacon 3.00 With Bewley = 4.27 With Sissis = 41.56 Or another scenario Craig Cook - 9.88 Aaron Summers - 8.13 Rene Bach - 7.32 James Sarjeant - 5.80 Dan Bewley - 4.50** Arthur Sissis - 3.79 Jack Smith - 3.00 =42.42 Just guessing what his average will end up Both of these teams could win trophies as you have a Very Strong top 4 round ashfield with the likes of Sissis being good round our place as well as Bewley, would like to see Jack Smith do some laps round our place!
  20. Hope that the Monarchs fans think twice before saying stuff like "Oh Aye, we're going to Berwick to watch the tigers get pumped" because your boys should be in for a real shock this Sunday, after using Guests and R/R for a while the tigers are back to full strength and any team should be worried about racing us!
