Polish Speedway 2018 Travel & Info Thread
tarkens replied to NickRushbrook's topic in International World of Speedway
Just a quick list from me, used my memory and geography knowledge to complete it, so some airports or cities might be missing Airport on the left, speedway city on the right Berlin -> Gorzow and Zielona Gora Poznan -> Poznan, Gniezno, Gorzow, Zielona Gora, Leszno, Rawicz, Ostrow Wielkopolski, Pila Wroclaw -> Wroclaw, Rawicz, Opole, Leszno, Ostrow Wielkopolski Krakow -> Krakow, Rybnik, Czestochowa, Tarnow, Rzeszow, Krosno Rzeszow -> Rzeszow, Krosno, Tarnow, Lublin Lublin -> Lublin, Rzeszow Lodz -> Lodz, Czestochowa, Ostrow Wielkopolski, Gniezno Warszawa Chopin-> Lublin, Lodz Bydgoszcz -> Bydgoszcz, Torun, Grudziadz, Gniezno, Pila Gdansk -> Gdansk, Grudziadz Szczecin -> Gorzow Katowice -> Rybnik, Krakow, Czestochowa, Opole -
yeah it will be Rybnik or Lodz - they haven't announced their team but it'll most likely be: Bogdanovs Andersen Miskowiak Kosciuch and Tungate 200zl = £40 of course you meant 200k pln (zl)

the craic is Polis will be 22 next year Fricke most likely not staying in Rybnik, he wants to force a move to Sparta and most likely he'll succeed, don't think it'll be done by tomorrow, so he'll end up in Wroclaw on loan Same rules in Division 1 as in Ekstraliga re foreign riders, but with or without Fricke, Cook will struggle to get a ride there - Woryna, Mat Szczepaniak, Czaja, Batchelor and Karpov are above him in the pecking order for now, so he needs to prove he's better than one of them, in order to do that he needs to treat Polish league seriously and attend some pre season training and test meetings

Rzeszow's new owner is the biggest joke ever, his interviews are hillarious, he has some crazy ideas, e.g. creating Golden League in Rzeszow while the best riders in the world will compete in a series of tournaments and will be paid in gold... He also thinks that it's unaccaptable for foreign riders to show up in Rzeszow on the day of the match, he wants them to come over around Thursday and spend time with the Polish guys drinking, picking up girls, etc. (his words, not mine)
