Warsaw Gp 13th May 2017

Oh wow, so you went to see my local team Motor Lublin, nice one. Pawel Miesiac show, wasn't it? I went to Opole on Easter Monday to see the same match but unfortunately it was cancelled due to pretty dreadful weather... -
Nope, we want a promotion and for this reason we signed Bjarne Pedersen and Daniel Jeleniewski, who treat Polish league as a priority. Robert won't be available for us pretty much half of the time due to his commitments in Premiership and Championship, but fortunately he signed a 2-year contract and I can't really see him commiting again to Championship next year, especially after what he said in the pits after Saturday's meeting in Lublin. Anyway, you can see his paid max from Saturday here: http://www.lubelska.tv/wiadomosci/3403,speed-car-motor-lublin-naturalna-medycyna-psz-pozn

Wildcards 2017.....
tarkens replied to Panthers89's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
At the moment it's more likely that Janowski will drop outside the top eight, he's been pretty terrible lately... -
Emil should fight for his GP spot like the others do. I'd love to see him back in the series, but he should at least give it a go in qualifications. I know he was injured this year, but was he even considering competing in GP qualifiers this year? And what about Milik? I know that Fricke is more appealing to some just because he's an Aussie, but look at Milik's stats, 12th overall in Ekstraliga, ahead of Emil, Nicki, PUK and Lindbaeck, and way ahead of Fricke. I know he doesn't ride in British or Swedish league, but he does ride in SEC where he currently is 2nd, just 2pts behind Antonio. Like mentioned earlier, I hope it's Dudek, Vaculik and Milik from Challenge (unless Pawlicki loses his place in top 8, but I doubt it), not a big fan of KK and he already had his big season, no way he can ever repeat that

Oh believe me, I agree 100% with you, but we know BSI, the wildcards will go to Nicki (3x WC), Zagar (7th, 5th and 6th last 3 years), Iversen (3rd in 2013, injured in 2014, 4th in 2015) and one of the Swedes, just because BSI is kind of like Steve Shovlar and they believe that some nations 'deserve' more than just one GP rider. They won't give it to Jonsson cause he's been ridiculousy terrible this year and basically very poor since 2012, so it will be Lindgren.

you're not -
Remember 1996? You had 6 GP riders and all of them were either average or bad, Poland had only Gollob back then who was a wildcard and rode in 3 or 4 meetings. Just accept the fact that times have changed, there's only one British rider at the moment who's good enough to compete in the GP series, anyone more than him is (Harris) or would be a joke (Lambert). Poland have 3 riders who do well/reasonably well in GP (Zmarzlik, Pawlicki, Janowski) at the moment and few more waiting for their chance (Dudek) or big come back (KK, Hampel). I'm not saying we deserve 6 riders in GP, I like variety as well, but I prefer quality over variety. Thank god there's a chance we'll have both - Dudek, Milik and Vaculik to finish top3 in Vetlanda As for wildcards for 2017, it's still pretty early but at the moment it looks pretty straightforward - Nicki, Zagar, Iversen and, unfortunately, Lindgren.

The EJ statue is not far from the stadium, on the other side of the river (Warta), i'd say 20 minute walk? As for getting from Poznan to Gorzow, just rent a car at the airport. Use Hertz, they have some weekend deal going on now. Last month I rented a car in Warsaw and returned it in Lublin the next day and paid only 99 PLN (~20 quid). You can take the A2 highway and then S3 express road, shouldn't take more than 2 hours total. Taking a train is another option, I just checked and it's ~2h30min with 1 change, but honestly, i wouldn't recommend travelling by train if you don't speak Polish. It seems like the whole country is speaking English apart from people working at the train stations etc.
