They only announced one rider so far - Sam Masters, but he's a doubt now due to his collarbone injury But if last year's lineup can be any indication, then you're in for a treat. 2016 results: Wyniki: 1. there are no league meetings in Poland after GP in Gorzow as for GP in Torun, 8th October is the date for the 2nd leg of playoffs, not the final unfortunately, I mean the promotion/relegation playoffs between Ekstraliga and 1 liga teams, and 1 liga and 2 liga teams. It's hard to say at the moment what teams will participate in those, but for Ekstraliga it will be either Torun or Rybnik with whatever team finishes second in 1 liga (most likely Gdansk or Daugavpils), as for the 1&2 liga it'll be Rzeszow against Gniezno or Lublin (most likely). I believe the higher division teams have 2nd leg at home, so Torun/Rybnik and Rzeszow. Not sure what the rule are for hosting a league meeting one day after GP, are there any? is it OK? cause if it's not and you'd have to travel to Rybnik or Rzeszow then it's unfortunately quite a journey from Torun... ~260mi to Rybnik, ~300mi to Rzeszow, but the latter is not worth the trip as it's one of the worst racing tracks in Poland I hope I didn't mess anything up, so let's wait for r&r to confirm

Grand Prix Challenge 2017
tarkens replied to STEPHEN 333's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
i think Harris is in since Pawlicki qualified from his semi and Harris finished there 9th? Bjerre finished 8th but he'll be replacing Miedzinski as far as I'm concerned? -

Sgp Wildcards 2018
tarkens replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I like Lebedevs, although he's been pretty poor in Poland lately, his last 3 matches - 2pts, 6+1pts and 2pts. He's very exciting to watch though, had an amazing SWC and is leading the SEC series. However, when asked about the wildcard recently, he said he's not good enough and if they give it to him he'd have to think twice before accepting it (source: https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/703667/andrzej-lebiediew-nie-pcha-sie-do-grand-prix-do-tego-trzeba-dorosnac) As for a Danish rider, surely it has to be Madsen if he doesn't qualify through Challenge? He's been pretty poor in SEC so far (5pts, 3pts and 5pts), but omg what a season he's having in Poland. I had enough of Iversen, don't want to see Bjerre in GP Hancock , give someone younger a chance, Milik or Fricke... -

Janowski Or Doyle For 2017 World Champion,
tarkens replied to Col's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Magic is a great guy, genuinely nice and works very hard, I'd like to see him winning the GP this year, but I think it's Doyle's year. Zmarzlik is 23 points behind Doyle as it stands, I have a feeling it will be between him and Doyle in October in Melbourne with Janowski or Dudek finishing third. -

very boring meeting unfortunately, but look at the crowd! i'm very impressed with the new bosses, they somehow managed to create a great vibe around speedway in Lublin, this crowd is honestly very very impressive considering it was: a) against Krosno, late afternoon, c) in the middle of July -
