Hi there, I'm wondering if any Norwegian Speedway fans can help me. I'm going to be spending some time working in Stavanger in April & May, and I was hoping to see some Speedway whilst I'm there. Can anyone advise if there are any tracks operating in the Stavanger area? Maybe a league track? Or any Open meetings / Norwegian Championships? I'd appreciate any help, or any web-site suggestions... Thanks !!

Hi there, I've been looking at buying tickets for the Wroclaw GP, can anyone advise who would qualify for a 'reduced' price ticket - I notice on the web-site that all sectors contained a reduced price ticket - I was wondering if that would include a student? Also, I notice that there are further 'discounted' tickets. Any ideas? Or was that for any tickets bought before end-2005. I can't find a decent explanation on the web-site, so would appreciate any pointers. Cheers.

Hi Ozpirate! Great news about Labrador.. can you tell me roughly how far / long of a drive it is out of Brisbane? I was hoping to spend time in Brisbane over that same weekend, so may head to Labrador if it's near enough by... I've got a map, but it's pretty large scale, so i'm only guessing that the drive isn't too bad? Cheers!

Hi, I've just read that the Gosford meeting I was hoping to take in has been cancelled - ...it's starting to look like i'm not going to see any speedway on my trip down under (unless something turns up in Queensland - still hoping). Don't suppose anyone would know of anything (even cars!) scheduled between 25 March and 18 April between Sydney and Cairns? Running out of ideas really - have spent hours looking on the net, so would appreciate any help! Cheers.

Hi, I've got a better idea of my route now: Arriving Sydney 25 March, travelling up the east coast for the next 4 weeks. I've used the Yellow Pages to help my research - great links cheers! I see there's a meeting on at Gosford on the 26th March, so could try to get there... train takes a little over an hour, so is easily possible I would think (correct me if i'm wrong, i'm just going from internet research). Can anyone advise start times? or when the bikes are on? All of the posts from Aussie Tjukurpa Mutitjulu Sempi seem to have been removed from this thread which is a shame as there was some great information... can anyone give any pointers of other speedways which operate up the east coast? I can't find any info on Newcastle Showground, or Brisbane... do they run regularly, or infrequently? ...it would be great to visit Newcastle, just to see how it compares with the hallowed Brough Park shale! Hi, I was wondering if anyone could advise some web-sites where I can find out about speedway meetings in Australia. I'm hoping to take a holiday there in March / April time and was wondering if i would be able to take in a meeting. I'll more than likely be taking the east coast tour Melbourne - Sydney - Newcastle - Cairns etc. Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks.

Hi there, I wonder if any experienced GP-goers could help me with a little bit of planning for next years GP series... i'm hoping to get to a few overseas gp's next year, and other than copenhagen and prague (obvious), i'm not 100% sure where abouts all of the tracks are located, or how to get to them. I've had a look through recent postings on the forum and have found out about Lonigo / Verona airport.... could anyone help me fill in the gaps below: Wroclaw - ??? Eskilstuna - ??? Krsko - ??? Ljubijana maybe? Then train? Cardiff - OK Copenhagen - OK Prague - OK Malilla - ??? Bydgoszcz - ??? Lonigo - Verona, then train / car? I'd like to use easyjet / ryanair, but of course it may not be possible for all routes. Thanks a lot! ps - Sorry if i'm covering old ground with this post, but would be really helpful to get this info together in one place. Cheers.

Yeah, I see from the speedway.org web-site that I'm unlucky with my timing for the Diedenbergen meeting... not to worry though, maybe I will get to see a meeting at Herxheim instead. How far is Herxheim from Speyer? Is there not a longtrack there as well? That would be worth seeing !! Thanks again... I'll email re. Herxheim once I know for sure when I'll be in Germany.
