Swedish Elitserien Championship Cup

Would be very disappointing if it wasn't back on TV next season, most meetings are very competitive and you get to see a lot of top riders who don't race over here anymore. -

Excellent season of Swedish Speedway, have really enjoyed the coverage on Premier/Free Sports this season and am glad to hear it's continuing next season too. Well done Dave for being so engaging with fans on social media during the coverage too, I think Nigel/Kelvin could take a leaf out of his book if Speedway in the UK is to enter the 21st century anytime soon! And of course, well done the Blacksmiths -

Very impressive from Vetlanda, have one hand on the trophy now. A shame since the Smerderna track has provided some decent racing the last few times I've watched meetings there. -
So we would be looking at....... Lindgren needing 15 points from 6 rides (capable of getting a max but Cook & Bjerre go well round the NSS so not expecting him to) Schlein needing 9 points from 6 rides Masters needing 6 points from 5 rides Howarth needing 5 points from 5 rides And 5 points between the reserves Would get us to the 40 point mark which is probably what we will need to win the tie overall. It's achievable but still looking tough with R/R, Masters will have to ride through the pain barrier big time which is a big ask. Not to mention that Schlein will need to infinitely better than the last time we went there as a team.

Ironically, Tungate was rubbish from a BV point of view but has basically won them the tie by (accidentally) taking out our 2nd best rider. If Masters was fit then there would be a chance for us but I can't see him scoring many with how slow he looked last night. I'm half thinking that we should have R/R for him too, would mean we could at least bring in one Guest.

Broken vertebrae for Jacob, wish him a speedy recovery ahead of next season.

I see Monmore is a terrible track now because a few Belle Vue riders over did it around the bends. Surely they should realise that it's not the NSS and adapt accordingly? As said, not Fricke's kind of track but he was able to adapt well and didn't go blasting into the bends like you can at the NSS. Tungate on the other hand....a speed merchant with clearly very little skill when it comes to controlling the bike.
