Cook is alright when he makes the gate (like most riders) but isn't great coming from behind, which is perhaps the little bit of extra quality that you would expect from the top riders like those in the GPs. Fell off twice last night after overdoing it, not to mention that he did in the playoffs too. Of course Monmore can be tricky for away riders but you would expect a bit more control from a soon to be GP rider, he almost took Ricky Wells out last night with some very dangerous riding, much like his mate Tungate did to Thorrsell and he also fell off last night (can't say that surprised me though)

Good point. I think Wolves sold Musielak's contract to Swindon because CVS apparently said that it doesn't matter much whose ''asset'' a rider is - ultimately they will decide where they want to race. Plus, we didn't acquire Masters' contract when Somerset made him available either, instead I think it was Edinburgh who bought it.

I'm not sure he would go elsewhere though (even if the offer was better), he was on Twitter only a few days ago saying he wouldn't ride for anybody else but Wolves. A Swindon fan asked him about contracts in regards to assets and what he would do if Wolves sold his contract. He said that his contract wouldn't be worth anything because he wouldn't ride for anybody else. Good question but I think he is ultimately loyal to CVS too, so even if Adams was to move on (which I don't think he will anyway) then I don't think that would impact things. On the subject of Birmingham - I've heard Ermolenko is involved and possibly Woffinden to some capacity too but I'm not 100% sure.

Sounds like he will ride for us if offered a team place, based on what he said in the rider interviews after the meeting. Would be excellent value on his average as a no7. I like Masters but I'd keep JT & Lindgren assuming they want to come back. Then sign Greaves as your no7 and see if Woffinden or Pawlicki would be interested in returning on fixed race nights, especially if there are squads.

Will be interesting viewing when he gets destroyed in the GPs next year. He might even bottle it and fall out of the series altogether after a few first tough rounds! Just like when he didn't turn up for his Polish team a day after embarrassing himself and Team GB at the World Cup. Abusive? All he said is that he was going to smoke you 😂

Ricky Wells looked like he might have been riding for a spot last night!

''Rosco dynasty'' I've heard it all now! If Swindon hadn't of won it against a Wolves team without their 2 best riders then it would've been down to Rosco failing to ensure his riders weren't complacent at the 1st leg.

Doubt it will be a Wednesday since Denmark ride on that night. I assume it will be Monday and Thursday as was previously rumoured. I also assume that the Championship will have to ride on non-Premiership days in order to stop the farcical doubling up on the same nights with all the fixture clashes?

Safe to say that time has well and truly passed Nicholls and Harris, 2 stalwarts of British Speedway! -

How is Lewis Kerr walking away from that seemingly OK? That looked nasty -

Jesus this isn't pretty viewing. Get a few injuries and you're completely stuffed, the current R/R and Guest system just doesn't get close to making up the scoring power you miss - especially at home. Josh G and Howarth would at least make things competitive. -
No Aussies In British Speedway 2018
Perton Wolf replied to rocketman77's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I think the poster was referring to priority for British meetings when they clash with others and they are on the same footing in terms of international priority. Jack Holder should've rode for PBoro for example, not in Poland.
