Oh dear - just what has this got to do with speedway?
-
Why? Just stating a fact haha
-
The club have just confirmed that they are currently in talks with Jacob Thorssell over returning to Wolves.
-
Cheers for that - do you know what Howarth's average is?
-
Not sure what their precise averages are but I reckon the 4 of them combined would be around 38? Leaving 12 for the two reserves and a second stringer. Personally think Wolves will decide against Masters (they'll choose Thorsell if they feel like it's a choice between the two, even though Jacob's average is a point higher) but who knows, would be good to see him back if possible.
-
Surely a team will take Holder despite his high average? Spill the beans then.........
-
I thought NL teams weren't allowed assets?
-
I'm a bit cautious at the idea of having such a weak reserve pairing.
-
Jacobs' average isn't worth the paper it's written on unless he can ride every meeting at the NSS. You may well be right on the overall standard of teams though.
-
That seems like a really poor team to me but I don't really have anything to compare it with this season, if the standard of the Premiership is much lower than the EL as expected then it may not be too bad.
-
Personally, I'd keep Thorsell over Masters if you had to choose.
-
Woffinden has a ''gentleman's agreement'' with Peter Adams that he won't race for anybody else but Wolves in the UK. I assume it's still valid......
-
Rye House and Ipswich is what I heard a few weeks ago, with Leicester dropping down.
-
Overall as a rider - KK isn't as good as Holder.
-
Find it hard to believe that any Poole fan would not want Holder - top rider and especially good around Poole. KK isn't as good and as others have said, his availability is a lot more sketchy too.

Time To Stand Up To The Polish Clubs ?
Perton Wolf replied to Countershaftcounter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Looks like some riders may not even understand the new rule themselves as Woffinden was quoted saying last night that it's not possible for him to ride in the UK at all next season, due to this new rule. Now, I think we all know he doesn't really want to ride in the UK anyway but the reason he gives shows a misunderstanding of the rule which other riders may also have. Hopefully somebody can explain it to them....... Looks like Britain won't be too badly hurt by this after all, assuming that the Aussies can sort themselves out with a British license. The leagues below us will certainly suffer a lot more though ( Germany, Czech Republic maybe? ) -
He's in Wolverhampton tonight, taking questions from fans at a local event.

Time To Stand Up To The Polish Clubs ?

I thought it was only the Polish league and one other league that riders could ride in. That article seems to suggest 3 league - your national one, Polish top league and another foreign league. Can't see the Danes being too pleased with that though. -
Poole fans talking about ringers is the definition of irony.
