I'm happy to provide updates but I'm not familiar with how to do it or where? -
Rye House V Wolverhampton Sat 1st April

Thorsell and Masters aren't worth their averages if they only turn up at home. The Reserves speak for themselves - clearly trying but simply not good enough. Neither of them. You almost made a good post until the last line considering your team is the master of bringing in ringers on dodgy averages. -
What 'blind faith' is this out of interest? You'll struggle to find a Wolves fan who isn't concerned about our Reserves and Skornicki.

He has just announced his retirement via Facebook. Seems like it was a medical decision due to a crash he suffered in December during training. Quite a surprise but wish him the best for the future!!

Of course, if it can't be Wolves then anybody but Poole will do I just think Holder going there will see things click a lot more for them than last season, if Huckenbeck and Batchelor ride to their potential then it could be a very tough team to beat. -

Tough to predict when you're just going off names on paper going into a fresh season but here it goes......... 1. Poole 2. Kings Lynn 3. Belle Vue 4. Wolves 5. Rye House 6. Swindon 7. Leicester 8. Somerset Can see it being very close between Rye House and Wolves for the 4th playoff spot. I'm hoping Wolves will be ruthless in making changes if required like they did last season because I think the current 7 may just fall short of the playoffs. Playoff Winner - Kings Lynn over Poole -
Masters is the same to a lesser extent too unfortunately. We only really have Freddie who is consistent both home and away so will be a challenge to get some away wins yes. We never fare well at Poole anyway but this scoreline is massive. Attempting to follow the meeting on Twitter......Did Klindt really just go off 15m and still beat Clegg?
-
Right decision, he doesn't even ride over here full time so how can he qualify for a testimonial?
-
It isn't that devestating of a loss to be honest. Would've been nice to have him on such a low average but I don't think any Wolves fan will be losing sleep over his decision. Haha - and what divine right do Poole have to win the league next season? Genuinely can't wait if you end up bottling it like last season.
-
I agree, it's not looking good.
-
Cheers for that mb1990, interesting reading!
-
Don't think Zagar rides Monmore that well so not sure where you got that idea from.
-
Would be very concerned if he isn't the no7. Howarth will be at no4 on that average I think.
-
Surprised to see Howarth back in on that average !
-
Indeed, I'm just a bit apprehensive at leaving us too weak at reserve. Although I see Poole have gone down the route of having a 2 pointer! I don't think Joonas will sign anyway to be honest which is fine. He did OK for us but never seemed to get totally to grip with Monmore, to my liking anyway.
-
Think it's unlikely that Joonas will be signing for us, I tried to make a side under the 50pt limit but this is the best I could do without leaving ourselves really exposed at reserve. 1 - Lindgren (10.09) 2 - Klindt (5.42) 3 - Thorssell (9.88) 4 - Masters (8.88) 5 - Joonas (9.35) 6 - Clegg (4.04) 7 - Williamson (3.76) Total - 51.42 Looking pretty tough to fit Joonas in with Freddie, Thorrsell and Masters..even if you wanted to Howarth on 7.18 for Joonas would bring it under the 50pt limit and probably allow you to invest in a slightly better reserve than Williamson, although I'm not sure Howarth is great value on that average, although he did improve towards the end of last season, especially at home.
-
Thorsell has been confirmed. Masters next please.
-
Surely somebody will take him as their no1 !?
-
Strong first 3 but I think Howarth isn't great value on that average so not sure he will be back. I think a lot of people are clamouring for Klindt on the theory that he could start the season at reserve with Clegg, just how achievable that is I don't know.
-
Even with the dumbing down of the standard for next season, you're right, that is pretty terrible.
