  1. Maybe I was a bit harsh but he has had an inflated average through riding at no4 this season. Better that Schlein, Masters & Lindgren take 3 of his rides at the NSS anyway, judging by previous form there.
  2. I'd have Greaves over Clegg, he provides better value for his average too.
  3. I would still suggest that R/R for Thorssell and Ben Barker should score more points than Thorssell and R/R for Howarth would have. Mainly because R/R for Howarth would've meant our reserves taking extra rides, now it doesn't.
  4. Thorsell isn't much use away from home anyway. We may actually benefit from R/R for him and having a Guest for Kyle.
  5. Should be a fairly comfortable win for Belle Vue (around 10 points?), I don't expect us to come away with any points from this meeting.
  6. They raised quite a bit for Nathan Greaves fairly recently too. Don't you get bored of constantly fishing?
  7. You may still finish 4th since Kings Lynn seem intent on imploding from within this season.
  8. Been on the phone to Neils by the sound of it then. The Polish 3 League Rule only really affects the top Danish and Latvian riders. Or maybe the truth is that everybody has heard how bad the Poole track is and would rather stay well clear
  9. What is the team's points total now then? Could still be over the limit.
  10. Sure.......but can he ride Monmore? Where 50% of his meetings will be. I think Perks will do OK for us Away but his ability to ride at home will be key.
  11. It's clear that he's fishing and has already caught you!!
  12. An absolute farce that this meeting was called off - Kings Lynn have done this a few times this season now. I do feel bad for the fans though, and as to think the guy running Kings Lynn is also running British Speedway..........no wonder it's in such a mess!!
  13. Before the mess against Poole, I was starting to think that Kings Lynn with the new averages/riding order could be a serious contender for a top 2/3 spot. Guess it depends if Holder wants to stick it to British Speedway when he comes back or whether he will continue his out of sorts form.
  14. Well, he scored 0 at Monmore when Guesting for us vs Rye House. He's more of a no7 than a no6, although he should be able to pick up a few points away. Greaves is a 2pt average rider, not sure why you keep mentioning him........he's probably better than Clegg anyway who isn't good enough to ride in the top league at all. I looked at the table today and didn't realise how close we are to 5th place, our lack of away wins is starting to bite now. Thankfully, Kings Lynn are in a bit of a mess without Holder and Rye House won't pick up enough away wins to trouble us either. Swindon are the ones to watch now.
  15. Perks for Riss now confirmed. Because it's a 28 day contract for an injured rider, I assume that we are able to bring Riss back in when fit?
  16. 8 for PK at Rospiggarna tonight. Looking forward to seeing him live again next week. You did make it sound like Indianerna would win though Saying that, when Dackarna were 8 or so points down after a few heats I was fearing for my prediction a bit...........Rune Holta saved the day.
  17. Clegg was a poor choice of Guest, no doubt about it. As for Greaves, he is pretty much what you would expect from a 2pt average rider but I don't see how Shanes would've beat him yesterday - Greaves scored 5 and in Shanes' 2 rides before his injury, he could barely stay on the bike at times before crashing.
  18. He would need a VISA for Poland now, a Polish or Schengen Area Visa doesn't allow you to work in the UK and vice versa. Only EU citizens have the right to freedom of movement, not non-EU nationals.
  19. Klindt wouldn't ride for Wolves again anyway. Musielak is a good rider but not much use around Monmore if I remember correctly. Masters' average may end up too high to keep next season although I agree that not purchasing him as an asset when available was a bit strange - although saying that, I would keep him over Thorssell if push came to shove.
  20. Interesting - you would've thought that because he's been long enough, he may have applied for British citizenship to save the hassle of getting a visa. As for the Friend or Foe argument - I'm interested to hear his side of the argument first (got to be fair), which he said he will release after the GP at the weekend.
  21. 28 day replacement is OK with me, just wouldn't have him till the end of the season permanently as one poster suggested. Looks like we may limp into the playoffs with niggling injuries to Freddie and possibly Howarth, mixed in with track worries and reserve difficulties. Maybe we will be underestimated?
