  2. Bumchickawowwow!!! The Abbey to televise the reigning champions 69th.Anniversary meeting is the place to be, thousands expected
  3. Doyle didn't want to ride for Swindon anyway doesn't like Rosco.
  4. Swindon are nearly always at their most dangerous when not expected to win. Should be some titanic tussles between Morra, Batch and Doyley, and a big crowd for this westcountry derby involving the top2. Zummerzet will be hoping for their first win at the Abbey, will go Robs 46 Rebs 44.
  5. 2010 was indeed the downward spiral at Swindon. Big bad Ron took over from Rosco, Leigh Adams retired, and in 2011 the Robins finished stone bottom. Swindon boy Rosco returned from Coventry in 2012 to take the Robins to their first title since 1967. The crowds haven't been the same since 2010.
  6. Morra not as good as last year, not a number1. Doyley was great signing for Zummerrzet, now top. Well done Batch and Belly.
  7. A few fans I know have stopped going for various reasons which is a pity with the defending champs at the top of the pile. Need regular fixtures, regular racenights. A mate gave me a pile of old Robins progs from the 70s, about 30 meetings every Saturday from March to October. Massive crowds then. With the lack of movement on the new stadium and the club losing money in a now 7 team league not good for the future of this fine sport.
  8. What sort of crowds up there now? Sounds down on 2004/5 when I watched them, averaged 1200 then.
  9. Well done Swindon top of the league. One of the tightest for years, most teams can win it.
  10. A past life Mr. Roundabout, work for Lucy Childrens Air Ambulance now.
  11. Very true.. Bellego whoawoaa Bellego whoawhoaa. What a fantastic boss Rosco is with GB and Swindon.Installs a champion winning mentality when all seems lost. Walking along singing a song walking in a Rosco wonderland
  12. Well done you riproaring rockin Robins, the defending champs are top again.
  13. Great performance Britain, unlucky to lose. Poles red hot fave. Well done Tai and Swindon boy Rosco.
  14. Morra should be in top 10 Lambert Schlein Batchelor Morris Bewley Thorsell Doyle Masters Nicholls Kasprzak Cook Fricke Andersen Pieszczek Sundstrom Tungate Kurtz Howarth Holder Musielak
  15. The Robs are the only team that have picked up 2 away wins, barring injury cant see them losing at home, but ya never knows.
  16. Could be one of the closest leagues for years, any of the 8 can win it, after seeing the Stars-Rebs result. Would put Robins as favs.
  17. Shock result, only the 4th away win so far this season
