Well done Pirates, best team in playoffs, and Kings Lynn, best team this year. Unlucky the Danes were injured, poor from Adam. -
Is This The Worse Team Ever To Win The League?
Ovalman replied to IainB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Don't know about worst team ever, but British speedway is at its lowest point ever. As Woffy said in the Independent paper interview needs a radical overhaul soon. -
Great achievement by Woffy. Never seen so much national press coverage of the sport, even in the Mail and Independent.

Can't see a Lynn win without the two Danes. Will be unlucky for the table toppers -

Very true, some ride for 3 or 4 other clubs. Not like when half the team were local and rode over 300 times for the local team with pride. -
Would have Muesli and Zach back. Morra needs a change, Wolves perhaps, Adam perhaps would do better at Lynn. Doyle won't come back to Swindon
-
After last night sounds like they need a whole new team..never mind new track?!

The only way people will flock to the Shabbey tonight is if the club provided a free spread and said pay what you like to get in, or we're all flocked! My football club Cirencester Town did that and got their biggest crowd of the season. A nice gesture for their support throughout the season. The fans are the most important part of the club, speedway or otherwise. Look after your customers like any business or you'll lose 'em. We won't be forking out 34 quid tonight but it's good weather so hope it's an enjoyable night of racing and reasonable turnout. -

Or attaching a rocket to his pants! Adam's best night this year was guesting for Kings Lynn in a double-header, shows the riders dislike of the Abbey racetrack. Good to see local lad Brennan in the team. -
What's the best race you ve seen live

Rosco, excellent manager, but not the most popular bloke in Swindon. The club just expect people to turn up regardless, and the diehards will. Swindon have to improve their product to gain new fans. -

If Swindon produced a better racetrack like Somerset and Belle Vue and better facilities then more would turn up and part with their 17 quid. Not having the world champion returning to Blunsdon would have lost a few fans. Constantly messing around with different racenights. Irregular fixtures.Need that new track and stadium to get some fans coming back in. Some hard work from Lee Kilby to attract new sponsors well done son. They need to connect with the community more, like the football and ice hockey clubs. -

Will go if free spam and pickle sarnie. Have only been to 4 Abbey home meetings, and 1 Zummerzet away this year. Not been good racing this year. Need new track/stadium. Coiren in Fa cup at Binfield tomorrow. Will be worth 9 grand to them if they win.
