  1. With Swindon so good at home you have to fancy them. Wolves the in form team. Would be a humdinger of a semi.Repeat of the 2009 and 2017 Grand Finals.
  2. Certainly nothing wrong with the standard at Swindon, after spending 50 grand on new track, some superb stuff.
  3. Massive 18 from Doug the Wolf. The Panthers score a very poor 26 at home!!! I like Hansi and Scotty but time they moved.
  4. Swindon's 2 3 4 need to vastly improve after the Ippo meeting. Lost by 10 last time after being 8 up. Can't afford to slip up again. Close one 44-46.
  5. Anyone have any info on Les and Sandy? Saw Mike Broadbanks crash and break leg around 1969 at the Abbey against Ackney Awks. I'm sure Les was blamed for the crash. My younger bruv now in Adelaide was there but doesnt remember there were two brothers, but it was 50 years ago?!
  6. Adams and Ashby should have been world champs, perhaps not ruthless enough like Briggo and Doyley. Only Fundin for me was better than Barry. Ward only rode briefly for Swindon before his terrible injury. Would have been World Champ.
  7. Unfortunately someone wearing purple chinos was seen being chased through Poole by someone dressed as a 6 feet Robin after a Poole-Swindon match. A pair of chinos were found floating in the harbour. Police suspect foul play. Sad.
  8. Would be surprised if the trophy ended up in Manchester but anything can happen. Swindon have never won the cup so COYR.
  9. Exactly my choice. As good as Adams was, he never lead Swindon to a title or was world champ like Doyley. Adams had more class..Doyle ard as nails.
  10. And qualify for the playoffs! Cup final next week. Well done Robins.
  11. Point snatched after being 12 down, well done Perky and Batch. Middle order struggled.
  12. I will go Doyle Batch Bjerre Fricke Jensen Masters Kurtz Thorsell Cook Musielak Holder Grajczonek Ellis Morris Klindt Lambo Riss PalmSoft Schlein King
  13. Definitely more teams, 16 if possible, knock-out cup, regular fixtures on regular nights.
  14. With a decent number 1 now will be close..will go 44-46, last heat decider.
  15. Would say Cookie in one meeting is one of the best away riders I've seen at The Abbey this year. Class riders such as Doyley, Batch and Bjerre are good anywhere. I think Holder and Harris are two that seem to ride better on away tracks than at Poole and Ippo most of the time.
  16. Fundin, Mauger, Olsen, Pedersen.
