  1. Smektala, Drabik etc are examples of how Poland Bring on their youngsters. Seems to work doesn't it. Perhaps we should consider doing something similar such as keeping a youngster at reserve until he is 18 or until he attains a certain average. In Palins case I would like to see him in a reserve spot for at least the next full season.
  2. Based on giving the following:- 25 points for winning a final-20 points for coming 2nd-18 points for 3rd-16 points for 4th-14 points to each semi Final 3rds-12 points to each SF 4ths & all other riders keeping the points scored. The result of the 2019 series would have been :- 01-Madsen-179 02-Zmarzlik-175 03-Sayfutdinov-148 04-Lindgren-137 05-Vaculik-122 06-Janowski-107 07-Zagar-102 08-Dudek-99 09-Doyle-96 10-Iversen-93 11-Lindback-84 12-Laguta-80 13-Woffinden-73 14-Kolodziej-68 15-Lambert-48
  3. Ok . You have cause to complain. Due to a formula error on my spreadsheet NKI's correct ranking points from the meetings ridden in is 8.60 and not 9.95 as stated which puts him 13/14th. Thank you for your interest.
  4. My list is based on current form and not the whole of 2019.
  5. Every rider wants to win a GP as the joy they show after winning the final shows. It is after all the object of it all. Always said that the winner of a GP should get the most points for doing so. I am therefore in total agreement with the change but I would have preferred those riders who do not qualify for the semis to simply keep the points which they have scored.
  6. The total of all 11 current BCL teams is 453.38 which is an average of 41.30 which should be 2020s team points limit irrespective of who the 2020 league will comprise.

  10. Simple really. They usually re-invite the 9th and 10 riders back in but this time they are already in via the challenge so they have gone for 11th and 12th instead.

  14. Stuart Dickson has announced that Richard Lawson is to replace Richie Worrall in the play offs against Redcar. Presumably this is only at Redcar as Eastbourne are also riding on the same night as the Leicester's home match.
  15. Kevin Doolan has asked on Facebook for a spanner man to help him out at Leicester today as he has just received a late guest booking foe Eastbourne. Is this for Kennett or someone else?
  16. 19. If he does get banned before the end of this season Glasgow won't suffer will they when they can bring in someone like Sam Masters.
  20. Currently on +/- (away points won less home points lost) Glasgow are +18, Leicester +16, Redcar +8 & Somerset are on +6. So as it stands it looks like the race for the top position is only between Glasgow & Leicester. A more than 6 point win by Somerset tomorrow at Leicester could change things though.
  21. Leicester will find it difficult to win the league title with the current team because Ryan Proctor is not competitive and Joe Lawler although trying very hard is not scoring.
  22. It has been said by someone that the 40 minutes taken to prep the track between matches and the NL riders track walk did not unnecessarily delay proceedings because it took a similar time to remove the CL riders from the pits area and to then install the NL riders who then needed to warm up their bikes. If this is correct and was known about in advance then it is impossible to stage 2 matches in 4 hours and should not have been attempted.
  23. My top 20 riders as at 31.07.19 are now as follows:- 01 (02) Danny Ayres-Mildenhall-1150 02 (01) Ellis Perks-Leicester-1145 03 (03) Max Clegg-Cradley-1140 04 (04) Ben Morley-Isle Of Wight-1090 05 05) Leon Flint-Belle Vue-1070 06 (07) Georgie Wood-Isle Of Wight-1040 07 (08) Tom Perry-Stoke-1010 08 (06) Jordon Palin-Belle Vue-1005 09 (12) Danyon Hume-Leicester-1000 10 (10) Anders Rowe-Kent-950 11 (09) Drew Kemp-Kent-945 12 (16) Jason Edwards-Mildenhall-940 13 (17) Joe Lawlor-Stoke-935 14 (15) Rob Ledwith-Kent-930 15 (11) Ben Wilson-Plymouth-910 16 (14) Kyle Bickley-Belle Vue-885 17 (19) Connor Coles-Stoke-875 18 (---) Jack Smith-Cradley-850 19 (13) Richard Andrews-Plymouth-830 20 (---) Danny Phillips-Belle Vue-785
