  3. When teams operate RR only 6 are required so it can be done.
  4. Only the regular reserve should be allowed to have 7 rides free scoring or not. Guests in any position should not be allowed more the 4 rides.
  5. Not only that but he would have had 7 rides as well. I've always wished that if a team brings in a guest rider he should only be allowed to be used in programmed rides. Not as a tactical and not in heat 15. If at reserve only the regular reserve be allowed to have extra rides.
  6. Redcar do have a good team and could win out but Poole always seem to find a way.
  7. Hi there Lisa. You might or might now know that each season I produce My Top 2O Riders lists which are based on their most recent results. I have simply applied their previous season's efforts to see how they might continue into 2023. I know that some will improve but based on how they finished up my 2023 prediction is based on this. Regards BB
  8. 1-Poole 2-Glasgow 3-Oxford 4-Plymouth 5-Scunthorpe 6-Redcar 7-Birmingham- 8-Edinburgh 9-Berwick
  9. 1-Oxford 2-Leicester 3-Belle Vue 4-Kent 5-Workington 6-Berwick 7-Mildemhall 8-Edinburgh
  10. All meaningful matches should be included in riders averages. What's the difference between a K/O Cup and a League Match? True averages would then apply and be the same for all.
  11. Why can't last season's teams be used. It is after all last season's competition.
  12. I said such older non developing riders should be allowed to ride and did not suggest that they should be prevented. I agree that such riders do provide help and guidance to the youngsters.
  13. There are better riders in the BNL than the twins who are older and still improving. They should not be prevented from riding while they are so young, They need every opportunity to ride. After all they are still developing and it is a Development League. Having said this there are quite a lot of oldies who are obviously no longer developing but should not be deprived of their inclusion. Perhaps it would be better to drop the word developing and simply call it The British National or Conference League.
  14. As it stands but with some teams still to complete it looks like Oxford are looking most likely to come out on top. They have 4 riders who are established front runners wheras such as Leicester who will certainly be up there again only have 2 but have perhaps riders who will improve. Will be interesting to see how things develop.
  15. Is the reason for the meetings taking too long to run the number of restarts caused by accidents etc. Is Mildenhall a difficult track to race on for novice riders who quite often crash out and cause injury and fence repairs which cause delays.
  16. But the fans voted him to be the most improved despite his average dropping.
  17. Just read about all the improvements that are to be made. New track lighting being one of them. Been banging on about this for ever it seems. Swindon's track equipment has also been purchased.
  18. This my final list for 2022 which this time includes riders who were not riding at the end bit did enough when they were to warrant inclusion. 21. I understand that the Leicester Supporters Club Members voted Connor Mountain to be their team's most improved rider despite his closing average being less than his starting average. 4 other riders did in fact improve with the most improver being Nick Morris who was my choice for the award.
