  1. Not part of a college project.. Robs pumped thousands of £££ into this, myself and MKJ working to bring you guys the best streams in speedway in 2022
  2. other than me and @Paul Johnson do any other scunny fans go to away meetings or do us two just have sad enough lives to want to go to #### tracks like lesta etc
  3. Thing is with Scunny, we always put out a team on a budget, meaning we're financially stable to continue year after year.. teams generally built to win home meetings, win at home keeps the large majority of your supporters happy.. Personally, pretty happpy with the team we've built and should go unbeaten at home
  4. Managed a full season in 21 supporting the Tigers and Scorpions, intend on doing the same in 22, dependant on bestie bestie being back
  5. Simon will be back.. i'll completley jack scunny in if he aint
  6. the new signing bit could have been put on there to put people off... knowing the chap that designed them, i wouldn't put it past him
  7. Always rated Zaine since he came with Sheff in '19.. was formidable round the EWR last season, glad hes signed as a Scorpion!
  8. Welcome back Ryan, glad to have you back lad... can't imagine it would have been easy last year only doing NDL until Redcar called last month of the season.. quality around scunny, really happy with that one
  9. https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/20104/scunthorpe-championship-koc-12-2021 The same Aarnio that top scored at Leicester?
  10. If all promoters agree to what they've discussed - then i'd presume after the agm
  11. So next October will be 10 years since we last had a league title - good times! knowing the prospective lineup of the Scorpions of 2022, it's looking to be something special, without spilling too many beans!
  12. Allen, Lambo, Broc Nicol, Adam, Tommy, Drew Kemp and Jordie would do just nicely for me
  13. Anddddd the award to the most pointless fixture of the season goes to.... this one! Impossible task for the Scorpions already, I'm half surprised we haven't forefitted tbh... Good luck Scunny boiiz
  14. Adam will tell you himself, he uses the same bikes for Scunny as he does for Sheffield. In fairness, Adam was mainly brought in for away performances - however, the Scunthorpe track has been prepared very inconsistantley all season - and Adam's struggled to learn Scunny as his home track due to that and the fact that everyone can ride Scunny! I'd personally love to have Adam back next season if the rules allow
  15. Thank you sir, for coming and supporting the lads and paying your admission to help keep the club alive! Meeting wise - that wasn't the best meeting we've had this season, I dont mind losing to the Lions, a team that would do well in the Premiership, but even the racing wasn't entertaining last night. Outclassed by the Lions from the gate and that was that. Congratulations to the Lions and I wish you well in your quest to retain the league title. As for the Scorpions - for a team tipped to be in the bottom part of the table, we've done good this season and I'd like to thank each and every rider that's donned a Scunthorpe race jacket this season, it's been a pleasure to follow you guys home and away all year. Onto next year now and it was pleasing to hear that Rob's secured Jake Allens contract from Somerset - maybe that means he's coming back?!
  16. This season, our crowds have been the best I've seen in years... Leicester cup, Poole and U19s probably the lowest ones (first two being weather related).. We could do with praying Leicester beat Glasgow today, then having Glasgow here on Friday, smash them (again) then doing enough to qualify for the next round
  17. not quite.... this was https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/19617/ben-fund-bonanza-scunthorpe-2020
