  1. Eh? The averages say otherwise. And unlike those others you mentioned who by the way also look cracking prospects, Hume has only been riding Speedway for two years after switching from trials. I saw Hume sit on a Speedway bike for the very first time in 2014 at Coventry when he was offered a spin and the progress he's made in such a short space of time is very impressive. He put nearly 4 points on his average for Birmingham this year from the main body of the side, not reserve. I'll have a bet with you that Hume will end next season with a higher average than the other 3 you mentioned. You're severely underrating this lads potential.
  2. Love Nicholls he's been a magnificent rider for the Bees over the years, but not sure I want him back at this stage of his career. Rather look elsewhere.
  3. There's no getting away from it the crowds have been worryingly low at Brandon at times this season but that is just a sign of the times I'm afraid. I've travelled to nearly every Bees away meeting this year and our crowds hold up well in comparison to the rest so if we're struggling to break even, most of the others are too. Like I say, it's just a sign of the times I'm afraid and we have to stop judging our crowds by the numbers we got many years ago. It is what it is.
  4. Here we go again! Sick to death of it all now.
  5. I know as much as you do, but I'd hazard a guess that the label he gives himself on his own personal Twitter account (Ipswich Promoter) is pretty conclusive.
  6. Well Chris Louis runs his own Twitter account, he's not the webmaster of the official site.
  7. He is the promoter surely? Or at the very least co-promoter
  8. Blimey that's rich coming from you and your little barb towards another poster a couple of pages back! Talk about double standards.
  9. Harris' place must be in serious doubt surely but maybe he'll still get in on reputation. He shouldn't, but I've a sneaky feeling he will.
  10. I also remember the rumour, but can't ever recall see any actual quotes on the matter from PK himself.
  11. Got to agree with you Colin I'd rather give it up altogether than watch NL.
  12. Happens quite often in opening meetings. Some riders can jump straight on a bike after a long winter and pick up right where they left off, others take a good few weeks to get back in to things which always leads to some dodgy looking early results. Both King and Sargeant haven't got going yet for Coventry and both are suffering early machinery problems but I don't expect that to last too long.
  13. King and Sargeant have started poorly and neither is apparently happy with their machines. Confident they'll soon get those sorted out though and when they do I think we'll be fine.
