Sadly Godfrey puts the price up again, plus parking, plus program, plus food and diesel and £35 for 15 heats is a joke after the expense of a Somerset and Cardiff weekend. i can’t watch the youth champs due to a night shift before anyone jumps.

Just got to wish JB a speedy recovery, I suffered a similar injury in the ISDE which finished me. Leigh Lanham suffered from the same injury at Edinburgh riding for sheffield and it needs time to heal. always loved watching JB but hope he takes the doctors advice when to come back!!!! And not when he wants to come back. howarth has lost this tonight with saying he is fit to ride which clearly he’s not. Well done to the rest of the team!!!!!

If proctor stops squaring corners off and let’s the bike run he will do well at Sheff. Greaves was a disaster when he rode for sheffield, hope he rides the same. Terrible attitude towards all his team mates and supporters.

Not been on much myself lately but scunny supporters like to bait at sheffield but in recent past years have been eating humble pie. this year scunny look half decent and with the ball breaker Garrity in there ranks they are more than smug. Just hope Jason has learnt his lesson from being a total knob with a 70+ year old and stopped Being a total idiot. He screwed Sheffield and can’t believe Rob will put up with his antics for a season. best of luck to scunny and let’s hope for a bit of fair riding as there’s some bad blood between each set of riders.

Godfrey plays mind games and I for one have been on the receiving end and no longer sponsor anyone at Scunthorpe, gave him the benifit of doubt but how wrong I was. Speedway imho will always run at scunny as it makes Godfrey money and hes worked hard for it,,,, even if hes not a promoter😜 As for the track,,, all you scunny faithfuls would be gobsmacked at what your riders think of the MUD bath but Robs always right aint he!

Not surprised at your comment coming from scunny. Godfrey attitude run it at all cost pumping water off and expecting lads to risk their necks riding a mud bath. Our group usually 8 or so stopped going this year after a month due to Godfreys poop attitude.

I used to watch Scunny on Fridays. Along with 5 others that's allot of gate money lost. Sheffield is Thursday and I can't make Sundays or Mondays so hope it's not premier on a Thursday as I think sheffield will not be a part of speedway league racing as I believe the stadium management wouldn't help with increased costs.
