  1. Totally agree and probably Connor Mountain for Kingsley.
  2. Just rained in Wisbech for 20 mins but is now heading for king’s Lynn. Sky is brightening up now so let’s hope that’s the major shower done and dusted.
  3. Sheffield Belle Vue Wolves Kings Lynn Ipswich Peterborough
  4. Totally agree I’ll just be pleased to get back in the stadium and watch some speedway, win or lose this year won’t be my main concern
  5. There is obviously a lot of “rising stars” on the list that are not going to get a team place so if your pick turns out to be a total disaster are clubs allowed to get rid and pick someone else after say 6/8 meetings.
  6. Different posters keep on saying we should have one big league but I remember when Bomber said he would have to pack up if he only had one team to ride for as no way would he be able to make enough money. I would have thought that if Bomber couldn’t then most riders wouldn’t be able to. Maybe Haza’s idea might have some legs if they ever did decide to go with one league.
  7. Even if Bridget came in on a 4 our team could still be, Cook Thorsell MPT Kerr Proctor Bridger A.N.Other
  8. That’s a good start but although I’ll be happy just to see some speedway this year it would be nice to be challenging at the top end of the league and our only chance of doing that is if we go for Thorsell but I won’t be holding my breathe
  9. Well here goes, this is what I think the team will be not what I hope it will be. C Cook T J L Kerr MPT T Proctor L Bridger A.N.Other Team Total 33.65
  10. Can anybody tell me what Lewis Bridges starting average will be please.
  11. With Lambert and Riss missing from the team this year our rider costs must have plummeted
  12. Yes agree that rider costs would go up but not much as most riders would have new engines etc already in the workshop from 2019 and yes I would also be happy to pay 2019 admission prices, I don’t think I should but it won’t stop me going if we are lucky enough to get some speedway this year.
  13. Does that make us lucky at Lynn or was some championship clubs supporters unlucky. Dont think there will be a huge difference in team strengths between the premier and championship so maybe £13/£14 would be a fair price ?
  14. £15 is about right, in 2019 prices were £18 for adults and £16 for concessions at Kings Lynn and I can remember when I occasionally went to watch theYoung Stars in the National League it cost me £10 to get in so £15 to watch premier league speedway in 2021 would be quite fair I’d think.
  15. Pretty sure that team would easily fit but to be honest I’ll be happy to just see some speedway this year.
  16. Went to Bydgoszcz in 2019 for the Tomas Gollob benefit meeting and the place was like stepping back in time. Also there was one pass all afternoon and what made matters worse was this was the meeting when NKI had his bad crash that put him out of our play off meetings against Poole.
  17. I was also there for both meetings and yes Fridays meeting wasn’t very special but Saturdays track was much more slicker with race times around 2 seconds slower than on Friday but the racing was absolutely brilliant.
  18. In my opinion he would if logistics allowed be back at Kings Lynn before he rode in Denmark or Germany.
  19. When the pressure was on he certainly produced the goods. Certainly made a big step up this year, let’s hope he can continue this present form and more importantly stay injury free. Well done Robert all Kings Lynn fans should be well proud of you, brilliant performance.
  20. Great to see Robert top score for Rybnik against Zielona Gora 14 points from 6 rides looks like he is back to his best, let’s hope so anyway
  21. Agree with you that Hartel needs to be given a chance and with the ‘only 2 transfers rule’ this season I’m sure he will be. Having Erik in the pits with him plus Robert also able to speak the lingo will definitely help him. As for people saying he is going to be a weak link I think we need to have a look at him first, saying he has ridden here before is not really a good guide as he only had a few meetings for Ipswich before getting injured and that was a couple of seasons ago and young riders can improve quite a lot in that time and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing him ride and then people can make judgement on him.
  22. Yes I read it the same as you and if as sometimes happens teams have to make two changes at once to make the one change they really want that will be their lot.
  23. 1. Kings Lynn 2. Ipswich 3. Swindon 4. Belle Vue 5. Peterborough 6. Wolves 7. Sheffield Forever the eternal optimist !!
  24. The 1-7 isn’t the team I would have picked but at the end of the day surely it’s not just about wether the averages fit but if the finances fit as well. I’m not having a go at what other supporters think the team should have been but no one knows what the club has had to pay to secure the services of both Robert and Cookie and surely there has to be a limit as to what the club can pay out in wages. Personally if it was a choice of spending silly money and winning the league or have what I call a reasonable team and be still have a team to support every week I would chose reasonably good team every time. Having said it’s not the team I would have picked I do believe that every rider can easily up their 2019 average and I’ll be there every week supporting the team 100%
