  1. I'll be amazed if that happens and if it did our play off hopes would look pretty sick considering they. were turned over at home by Swindon.
  2. Before the fast track system came in most teams rode their third heat leader at four to strengthen up heat 14 so you then need your best second string riding at 3 so if the riding order is what it says on the web site I fully agree with that.
  3. I see John Cook has got us down to finish 7th is he having a laugh!
  4. I agree should be a comfortable win for the stars 12-14 pts I think
  5. How many kl fans thought that the Simon Lambert testimonial ran on for far to long. I know there was a few tape breaking exclusions and rider fall offs but the parade seemed to take eternity and then what seemed like a long interval plus when the riders chose their gates for the semi finals they all trudged out to the start line to do it. I know of some supporters that left after heat 16 because they were so fed up. I left my home at 1.30 for a 2 start and got nome at 6.30. 5 hours is far to long for any speedway meeting.
  6. anybody know the difference between Chris holders and Danny kings averages.
  7. I quite agree, it cost £17 pounds to watch kl last year and there wasn't a meeting that went by when Robert wasn't worth the admission money on his own.
  8. Had predicted kl, Poole, wolves and rye house in that order but after hearing what belle vues team is likely to be they will def take rye house's place in the top four imo.
  9. Kings Lynn Wolves Poole Rye House Belle Vue Coventry Somerset Leicester Swindon
  10. It's great to see so many cov fans say they are going to make the trip to Leicester to support their team but it would also be good for all away fans to go when their team are there as they will need every penny they can to mee t their costs.
  11. The reason I didn't put Belle Vue in my top four was because of the loss of Scott Nichols. Last year he had the best average in the league for away matches and I think you may struggle on the road thi s year and not pick up enough away points to make the play offs. On a personal note I would like to see you there as I've never seen a bad meeting at the NS. If it's any consolation I thought Coventry would do well last year and look what happened to them.
  12. Yes, Kings Lynn to win the league, we'll beat Rye House in the play off semi Poole will beat Wolverhampton in the other semi and then we'll beat Poole in the final. It's what dreams are made of
  13. Yes it's great to see Troy doing well in the Aussie championship let's hope he can bring that form back to England with him if he does we will take some stopping (if we can stay injury free)
  14. Agree totally with what you've said although I see Batch is not doing as well as you thought but coming from a stars fan he is doing as well as I'd hoped and far better than I thought.
  15. Imo I can't see any of the top teams being able to just swap their no7 for someone better when the new averages come out because if the new team limit is around the 41/42 mark you would have to have had a disasterous start to the season to be 2 to 3pts under that. I would think they would have to set the limit to about 45 for any team to make a significant change. I'll be very disappointed if our team total isn't above 42 after 8 meetings.
  16. looks like our options for our no7 is going to be very limited, still think that Josh Bailey would be our best bet but after signing on for the young stars riding in 3 leagues might be to much although he would get plenty of support from the fans. Has anybody else got any views on who it should or could be.
  17. What average would Josh Pickering come in on 3 or 5?
  18. Happy new year to all stars supporters, riders and management. Talking of riders who do we want to take the #7 position ?, personally I would like to see Josh given a chance before any foreign rider.
  19. I read an article by Johnsy in the speedway star regarding costs of the gm engine where he said a rev limiter could easily be fitted at the factory and this would have the same effect as the gerhard engine.
  20. Great news for all Leicester fans hope you have, a good season, well except when you ride KL
  21. I think the reason the track isn't what it was is because the gravel pit where buster bought his shale from run out and the new stuff isn't quite the same mix. I agree with you when you say the riders are dictating how the track should be prepared but I suppose it's them that's riding on it.
  22. With our best reserve always going to be either Rose or Huckenbeck I don't think having a strong no7 is that crucial as they are only going to get 3 rides mostly. Give me Holder who is going to win races any time over Bjerre and any other 7 pointer
