In that very post I quoted you in...
-
Been the rule since 2016 I believe.
-
You've got 6000 plus posts and you've only quoted 4 things so you've got a way to go!
-
I can't wait to quote all these posts back to you in the future. Anybody (well... clearly not quite) can see that Kurtz has heaps of talent under his belt, he's just developing his groove. Darcy Ward was another rider who was very up and down, and he went on to be the best rider to grace a speedway bike in decades. Stop slagging the lad off and just wait and see. So boring to see you determined to bring everybody down a peg. Does your wife wear the trousers or something?

That's why we love it when your predictions turn out to be wrong!
-
No, he should be crowned Sir actually uses his brain to try and make the most of the rules. It's not some sort of big conspiracy... many promoters are vocal about their views at the AGM and Matt often says about how he'd rather a different outcome. He didn't want the one rider over 8pts, and yet he's still built a solid team. That's why he's taken so long to announce his team. It's not like Matt had exclusivity over any of the riders he signed from Poland this season! He planned his team, explored his options, reached out to riders and made a proper effort of it. If it were up to Matt he'd have a higher points average and no silly restrictions. He worked to the rules the other promoters put in place, and so far he's given us a decent looking side. Nothing that anybody else couldn't have done first.
-
Not a mastermind, just better than the other tosh. Every year promoters vote on new rules to save money and hinder Poole, yet every year you all complain that Matt is smart enough to make the most of it. You should be whinging about your own lazy promoters.
-
I don't read every single article that comes up, no... So where was it confirmed?

Where was it confirmed?

I went to place a bet on Darcy Ward last night and the website was down. Typical!
-
He didn't say he should be at Poole with Chris, he said Chris should be with him.
-
Lol Gavan you talk some real tripe sometimes. You've been making these nonsense analyses for years and you're never right. I've never known somebody so bitter before... I mean it's really weird. If Swindon has the better team, then Swindon will win. But that's not enough for you. You get some sort of weird satisfaction from making sure that you've shoved your opinion down everybody's throat. It's not about the sport for you, it's just about being right.
-
You do chat a lot of excrement DC2. Chris is one of the most sought after riders in the league, as well you know.
-
Bet they didn't get permission from Sky to use that footage haha. Glad to see Chris back. As if it was ever really in doubt. Not sure why people are saying that the majority of Poole fans wouldn't want him back, or even that Chris is past it. He hasn't been at his best but he's still capable of beating every single rider in the league so definitely worth taking a gamble on. Great signing.

Woffinden and loyalty
-
No, I would rather they stayed at their clubs, but the rules don't allow a successful team to keep their riders. And I'm afraid you're wrong... it is all about winning! It's a competition!
-
Doesn't matter one bit how they feel. If your team succeeds, you can't keep them next season. The only way to win is to build a team with riders who are likely to exceed their average. There is no room for kisses and cuddles. If you want loyalty then you'll have to change the rules (or accept losing on a regular basis).
-
The system rarely allows for both loyalty and success. Don't blame the player for a flaw in the game.
-
Exactly!
-
With the way things are going he'll probably be a well sought after Premiership heat leader in the years to come!
-
Bit disappointing, but hopefully Matt has something in hand.
-
How have attendances varied since then? Things definitely do change. Thing's have got consistently worse for years.
-
They aren't hungry enough. Don't blame the foreign riders for working harder and committing more fully to their cause. What you're proposing would be like saying British people should get employment priority over foreigners, regardless of their skill level or commitment. Foreign riders tend to achieve far more over their career span than British riders. Why would you pick consistently stagnant British riders, the majority of which never seem to really commit to the sport, their fitness or their ability and seem to float around the same low skill level for the majority of their career, when you can bring in foreign riders who more often that not leave the leave with a higher average than they came in on? Other than 1 or 2 British riders, I'd put my money on the foreign rider 9 times out of 10.
-
Not a chance.

No wonder you like British speedway so much. It's fantastic at keeping well out of public domain.
