Everybody puts Poland first. Time to get over it and move on. The employer that pays 2 to 10 times as much, is the preferred employer. I mean lets be honest... if your boss came round tomorrow and said "Lisa! I want to increase your salary 10 times!"... you'd be on your knees doing whatever they asked. British speedway has changed and we need to be grateful of what we have. To expect any world class rider to put Britain ahead of Poland is... well laughable, to be frank. We are firm last place and we should be grateful for whatever can get get. Are you an Antonio Lindback fan?

Philiprising is from a "different time". Women and dark skinned people cannot achieve what white men can.

Sounds pretty damn tasty to me.

I'm guessing the visa approval process doesn't involve asking the BSPA if it's been approved. And besides, all they have to do is employ him, doesn't necessarily have to be as a rider.

Should be an easy win for the Wolves. -

57 pages of drivel... probably time to get over this. He wasn't happy, he refused to ride, he got punished. Why speedway fans need to nit pick everything is beyond me. Constantly trying to one up each other... it's pathetic.

Not sure it's really his job to?

I don't think there was anything preventing him going there before...

Chris Holder says he is paid 10 times as much in Poland.

Wolves Vs Poole 7/8/17

Poole to get hammered by the better team. -
I think you've pretty much proved my point there.

I know it's difficult for you older folks to get on with the internet, but there's quite a few more people on it than you think. In the last 15 minutes alone there has been 215 different users on this forum. In total there are 15,000 odd registered members. When intellectual debate and reasoning fail you, it's probably best not to resort to "well, it doesn't matter because you're [insert random user here]", because it makes you look a bit of a plank.

Exception to that was Darcy Ward for me.

The injury wasn't fake. But the rule is stupid.

The rules were made to stop clubs bringing in big guns who weren't willing to ride all season long, but happy to ride for the play offs. In that case common sense should mean that the transfer window is for riders who have not yet rode in England this season and shouldn't include riders that have already participated. Holder should be able to fill in for Fricke, but instead you're going to go into the play offs with 6 men. What a show!

Come on then Wozzy, humour me.

Heads Gone 2018 Team Building

Nonsense. Just because they've found other things to do doesn't mean they won't be back. It's all about the show and promoting the show. -

I suggest we use a sorting hat. Who's in? It doesn't work that way unfortunately. Whilst some might be able to stomach it, a large amount will not. Couple a price drop with an attendance drop and you are then faced with a much smaller income. This drop in income would result in a complete loss of foreign riders. You then have a very poorly attended league, and a lack of foreign competition for the up and coming Brit's to develop against. You then end up in a situation similar to the Americans which is that there are then very few higher standard riders to practise against and very little chance to practice on foreign shale. This results in a complete stall in development and very very few British riders ever making it to international or grand prix standard. This dream of almost "starting over" will simply not work. The drop in attendances are near enough already irreversible. Although some will be happy with a lower standard of racing, many will not. And I think this season has demonstrated what I and others have been trying to warn about for the past 10 years. 2017 was in my opinion a very serious tipping point. This years AGM will be perhaps the most important AGM in history, and decisions made now will affect the entire future of British speedway. If some bold and brave moves are made, the league stands chance of a slow recovery. If the wrong moves are made, like further "cost cutting exercises", then a future of any significant British speedway presence is all but over. -
Probably paying Kennett in Pirate's merchandise.
-
Have any other promoters ever spoken out? Just like all the times you've claimed Poole were cheating to some degree, and yet not a word was mentioned by any other promoter.
-
Probably something to do with the fact that Jack still has a job.

God almighty, you lot are a sour bunch. The kid is 19 for christ sake, give him a break. Speedway fans in this country are such d*cks.

Doesn't make it right for us to treat them like dirt.
