I think the sgp is great to watch and far better than a one off, however BSI have had the rights for a long time now and done very little with it. Now seems to be going backwards in terms of tv and number of sponsors.

I have done interveiws with the echo before,both for speedway and work. these are always recorded so if the echo is standing by their version and neil has taken no action i think we can safely say the interveiw is fact. i will also like to point out neil is a good bloke and there is no better chap for the job at the moment. he just has a load of crap to choose from to ride for GB.

Yep i think he will be a contender this year, ended 12 very well and always been quick. As long as its not a aussie at the top i will be a happy chap.

I think a lot of people seem to miss the point. Its time is passing speedway by like alot of other things. there is so much more to do these days and far cheaper with better facilites. Less and less are going and young people are not interested. Poland is following this trend to since entering the EU. More to do, more money and speedway is getting left behind. As i have said before, Pro speedway will be dead here in 10 years max. Whos to blame ? Well as i said, time and tec but also the promoters, bspa and mostly all those in the sport as they have not invested or looked to the future. Wont be long till the sheep skin car coat is hung up for good

A silly lad! Yes, to put himself in the positon to be accused of a serious sexaul assault. to have a good beating outside a pub, deserved it by all accounts and why charges were not brought . to be fined for drink, drugs, no licence bla bla bla. All this in a very short period of time when as a PRO he should be getting on with the job. I have a feeling he attracts this sort of thing and always will. Normal people or their children do not do this sort of thing. If this was one of my children i would be horrified but i know they wont due to there upbringing and knowing whats right and wrong. Its all about respect and i have none for ward as a person and he shows how much he has for people and his parents by HIS actions. Thats me final say on it but i feel sorry for all the people who generally think its ok and brush it under the carpet. Lets all look forward to the next advanture of Ward verse the Legal system .

jealous of what witch hunt i dont think is the right words, common sense more like. No one is saying he is not a fantastic rider but the person under that talent is not a good guy or at present one.

People like you make me sick so he is to be excused simple because he is the best around on a bike for all the problems he gets himself into. I thought you had more common sence ? yes a park where anybody can be playing. The 50cc pit bikes you buy are very quick indeed and around 150kg hitting anything or person at 50mph will cause major injuries.

He is not a kid anymore really, kids have gone to war at a younger age. Yes give him a break but this is his 3rd in little over a year. Anybody can opoligise but do they mean it ? Bit like F1 then, crap but comes with a bit of cash so you get a go. When we sponsored the sgp i should of got all sorts of riders a go then or maybe lined up myself. its meant to be the cream of the sport not bring in no hopers.

I dont think this will be an end to it. He seems to attract this sort of thing. After being dragged through the courts for a very seroius offence, found inocent of course you would think he would keep his head down but no, gets a good kicking which ruined POOLES season and by all accounts was his fault again. To then cap it off he then has this drink and drug thing in the off season. He is either very un lucky or very stupid or maybe even both. Yes a very good or dare i say excellent rider but seems to come with a lot of baggage and mostly bad. Glad i am not one of his sponsors as not really the type of chap you want on board for image, unless its win at all costs and dont worry about the rest.

why give him a break ? he deserves what he gets. lets see a differant chap this year with a better attitude and show what he can do on track,then and only then will i change my mind about the kid.

think your find his engines were fine. had the best internals availble as we supplied umm. it was the nurd on the seat which was the problem.

Pedersen i think, ward will go well but not sure he will last a full season at this level. holder should be in with a shout. like to see tomaz do well. greg i think has hung around for one year to many and will go backwards. could this be the turbo t--s un doing ? lets see who stuffs who first. Ward is far quicker than holder.

UK speedway is in a bad enough state without the loss of SGP and domestic TV. Yes there is very little sponsorship for the gp from the UK but is that a good thing long term ? Without TV no new large sponsors will come in to SGP and they have very few already. Speedway in poland and sweden is well below what it use to be and with this blinkered veiw what is the future in 10 years from now ? I know the BSI are worried about it as i have had several chats with them regarding this.

It is all about brand awareness but i think without tv coverage the value is now very little.
