  1. Didnt know it was held at arena essex Poland is about big fast tracks, carrying speed around the outside and plenty a lines. As i said a very good league track ruined a bit for the gp Just look at what the riders can produce when the track is well prepared and i have stated how good it is when it happens. I didnt say the gp was rubbish, good but could of been better. These people have been doing the tracks for many years now so should be perfect everytime barring the weather but seems always an excuse On a different note who is the chap who talks over during the track grading as he is totally useless Long lost son of pearson or tatum
  2. Well ya older than me Phil so you must of been in a coma then not just asleep. Where was the normal passing round the outside ? There was nothing for Gollob to use, If the track had been better emil would of won i expect. My opinion differs from yours and others but thats life. You look at everything through rose tinted glasses as you should working for bsi my i make my own mind up what i think is good and bad.
  3. Yes it is a nice stadium, and yes the racing did get better as the meeting went on but the track was not good. Well indeed you would Phil. Why was it so differant to practice then and where was the racing early on ? Not a good gp nor a bad gp as i said. The riders can only put a good show on if the track is right.
  4. Not a bad gp, tai did very well again even though in pain. Nicki take not this is a proper injury and if your going to keep bringing along ya arm rubber, get a good looking one Gp ruined again by a very poor track, seems we are going back to the old ways. Give the chaps something decent to ride on please.
  5. Around £8.00 profit i expect. Never ever bought one at any gp though as not really that much in there i think.
  6. Lets hope he doesnt get another chance ! How many can the same person have. His problem is he does not listen and his team are no good. Also he cant set up a bike or know what is good or bad, just rides it and if ok does well if not useless. An ex top rider offered to help a few years back and he didnt even ring them back deserves where he is now in my eyes.
  7. Olsen runs many things and the bsi are scared of the bloke.
  8. hiya mate, i was one of his biggest critics before this year. BUT i have to admit the boy is going well, very well. I think a good contender for the crown as long as he gets over this injury quick. Dont like the ear and tat things but each to his own.
  9. So how many years is the same material used before it is replaced with new fresh material ? We all know cardiff is the cash cow for the BSI and why its one of the few they promote themselves. Income from this event needs to be maximised to off set the lesser events. I must say putting it in a hep with a tarp and tyres does not seem to hi tech
  10. I just watched it on tv, Material looks totally differant to other years and produced a poor event. Maybe it is the old stuff left over from Germany a few years back now its dried out
  11. Yep toys out the pram, no wildcard no SWC he said. Way he is riding i would put another youngster in, got no chance of winning anyway. That chap Kerr was going well other day on tv, put him in. Good English lad
  12. Dont think any British rider puts numbers on the gate. The attendance has petty much stayed the same really. You will pretty much always get the same number turn up, maybe few more or few less. Harris put anything on the gate ? Na, maybe a few years back. Still agreat event though and most people go to see all the riders who dont ride in the uk or never have, to see the best not some brit who dont cut the mustard. Hope ya all have a great time who is going as i would like to be there :-(
  13. Yes i am sure. I said most speedway riders i know are rubbish on a motocrosser. Indeed gollob is good, as was chris louis and kris ceilgeski with whom i rode. But yours and my opinoin and your man in the know may differ. I know a good rider when i see one regardless of any type of bike being riden. Cook does not ride like a moto crosser in my opinion and who ever says he does is taliking bull. He would also learn far more by riding at cardiff than watching which will teach him nothing. Harris will learn nothing as he hasnt in the past, just needs to learn he is not gp standard anymore. On a side note, i may be 51 but i will give ward and holder a run for their money on a 125 smoker any day of the week. Well maybe lol.
  14. I believe Cook should be the wild card, would do the lad a world of good and the way he is gating could of picked up a fair few points. As a moto crosser for some 38 years i can say he does not ride like one at all on a speedway bike ! All speedway riders i know are pretty poor on a motocrosser and certainly cant jump for a toffee. Give the lad a chance, has to be better than a serial failure who has no chance of ever making in the gp series, past present or future. Just as well give the place to the hot dog seller ! The Dribbles are both well past there sell by date.
  15. yep indeed ya another speedway fan who believes everything they hear lol.Does make me laugh.
  16. FIM, dont make me laugh. They dont want him in or care who is in. take ya head out of your a-s.
  17. well you did tell me to change mine phil. you can say what ever you believe but its fact. bsi are all about money and how much they can get in. they dont like spending there own and money talks if its a wild card or whatever. we havnt forgot his good performances, certain people have however overlooked his terrible gp performances of late. had his chance many times over and is simply not good enought. give a younster the chance to experaince the gp like cook. why do you always seems to side with bsi or do we already know the answer ?
  18. You forget i worked with the BSI for a long time. Money talks and whatever you say Castagna, FIM have no say whats so ever in the wild card or how bsi run things ! How about you change your name to, Phil i been around to long, maybe time to move over for a younger chap.
  19. Convincing argument? The chap has been terrible for a while now and is not gp standard. Has had so many chances and FAILED. Why all this FIM nonsence ? They dont even know who the riders are and just rubber stamp who the BSI put forward. It is the wrong choice but there you go as nothing surprises me these days with the BSI.
