The bsi signed a very long deal with the FIM as they knew it would take time to get it working correctly and to make money. Why should thet spend many years building it up to lose it to someone else. Regarding british speedway why should they help it when in the past they have only put bsi down. But regardless of this john p is doing a lot for britishspeedway behind closed doors which will soon be known by all.
There seems to be one major problem with this you cannot have the BSPA or any other federation taking over the sgp rights as there all bent. Do you think the likes of TR-MF and so on would not keep all the money. The bsi are independant from all other speedway and that is how it shoud be.
Some people just dont have a clue do they, (SCB). Do you think sgp will standstill just for british speedway, NO. Also if you think most riders buy anything your wrong as they buy bugger all for speedway as its all free.
All world championship events bike or car have been run under the FIMs control and always will be. Riders will always put this first above any domestic racing as its the only way to become world champion. In the not to distant future SGP will become very much like moto gp where contracted riders only race in this event. This has already started for 05 by dropping the number of riders to increase prize money also only have the best in it. As for having promoters running SGP thats a big no as their are to many of them in it for there own good. Referance bsi putting money into young british riders wait to end of season to see what they have planned ( MORE THAN HAS BEEN SPENT OVER THE LAST 50 YEARS BY ALL THE SO CALLED WORRIED PARTYS )
What a load of rubbish as normal. All the large so called sponsors have gone because all they put in was products no money. If you knew what they charge an elite sponsor, title sponsor as well as tele rights speedway federations and so on you would not make these comments as the bsi are working very hard and doing a fantastic job for speedway.
Well done to hans, backs up his 1st gp win with a 3rd and is now 100% in gp for
next year and has also had his sponsorship extended by a further 3 years, by his main backer.
The reason mark does so badly is because his bikes are crap. He has the worst pit set up, his bikes always look tired and dirty and he has all his parts in old bread crates. This will not do nowadays in gp racing.
