  1. Not sure about that. The way our home league form is lighting up the Premiership, I reckon you've every chance of at least a point
  2. Kim Nilsson riding in SEC meet tomorrow. Should he qualify through, he'll also be missing for the Wolves match on the 20th. Great planning all round
  3. Agreed. Felt the writing was on the wall for Josh when King & Bates signed, giving us a necessary two brits. Lasse was so quick against Swindon, scored more than Josh has ever done riding in the top five. Shame though as Josh has been loyal. Never gives less than 100%. Onwards and upwards I guess.
  4. That's good news! We've had no rain in south Leicestershire at all but there was a downpour at the footy. Looking forward to it!
  5. I thought that too. Popped in to have a look at the track yesterday, Glyn wasn't there, couple of guys going round with some big machinery. Didn't appear to be much of a top surface on it. New owner was there however, plus a certain Mr. Hemsley too!
  6. Tai's latest tweet certainly makes his point of view clear. Ding Ding, round two
  7. Do you mean you want some photos of a well known washing powder?
  8. Yep. Haven't been on this forum for quite a while, nice to see even on a very dark day for British speedway, nowt has changed much here..
  9. Agree with this. At the very least you could say it's an interesting team we've assembled. Find it a little strange our new owner is describing this team as a side of 'entertainers', on a track that allows minimal entertainment most of the time. However, if track mods do take place and improve things, happy days
  10. Can't see how he could ride in the UK as he is committed to ride in Denmark, Poland & Sweden already, so can't do the UK due to Polish regulations? Or I could be completely wrong
  11. Be pretty happy if Kylmakorpi was to ride for us, his twitter feed however suggests this may not be the case. Would like Ludde back at Leicester too. Goes well at our track.
  12. Granted the track is hardly the best. But can't get a good view? No facilities? Eh?
  13. Like this too. Prefer Ludde in there somewhere though, as he was excellent for us & is keen to continue.
  14. Sincerely hope you do race this year. Top league speedway in this country needs to have a bees team taking part.
  15. The same fella that did a lap of the track with the intention of watering it? Only he didn't spray the water over the width of the track, just dribbled it out the back of the machine? And then flooded turn 2 by the pit entrance trying to reverse the tractor back in to the pits? Comedy gold was that.
  16. Well that's nice. The charm offensive of the new regime is up and running it would seem. Wish you all the best
  17. Nice one. I'll chip in a tenner if you're up for it...
  18. Now we know Hemsley is not involved in speedway affairs any more, plus gobbie Allan is out of the picture too, this is surely a small cause for celebration. Potentially a decent new team & manager to be revealed next week, not all bad, for once. Nothing about race night yet though.
  19. Absolutely. Surely nobody can look back at 3 years of scratching around to field a vaguely competitive elite team on a Saturday night and call it a success so far. Got to be worth trying something different?
  20. Biggest crowd I can remember since we joined the elite league was for a Monday night match. Admittedly it was a televised meeting and only a fiver to get in, however it shows that there's plenty of Leicester people out there willing to come along on a school night, not just a Saturday.
  21. According to the radio interview, Chapman said everything regarding speedway has been taken over. Parking facilities, track, fencing etc. David Hemsley is left with the responsibility of developing extra leisure facilities over the whole site, something I believe that was part of the original blueprints . So maybe after all they'll be improvements to the track shape. Fingers crossed.
  22. Keith Chapman due on BBC Radio Leicester tomorrow morning at 8.30
