  1. You have seen far more of Cook than me over the years so you could well be right. But my point was don't judge him up against Lambert who for me is a super talent who has a natural racing brain and is destined to be a regular top eight rider in the future.Bjerre can he shine in this watered down league yes of course he can but for me he is on the level of Hans Andersen who was once world class but is now on the slide.
  2. Musielak you have made it quite clear you don't like , for me this guy can improve he took a while to get the Abbey dialled in to but he got there in the end and at times looked terrific. This year the track might change so will we have a home advantage.?? who knows going by your comments Musielak would not be in your 1/7 REALLY!!!! . Forget his average can he improve and if you replaced him who would you replace him with in a watered down league.?
  3. Lambert is a mega talent Ace, don't even compare Cook to Lambert , he is up there In the same bracket as Drabik/Smektala we all knew he had talent the penny has dropped he has moved up a few levels.Craig is a different kettle of fish he had to work at it but your comments about him are mighty harsh and Bjerre who i like and have followed since his Newcastle days has at times been a blow out.Yes at times he will be mighty quick at home but could you 100 per cent rely on him ? i am not certain Fricke will be the number 1 anyway different gravy.
  4. I prefer Cookie Bjerre might be on the downward slide? but Belle Vue again will be exciting to watch.
  5. Holder is good but Fricke ahead at the moment.
  6. Would Jake Allen be better value on a lower average? he can also improve.See your point about Wells a steady Eddie type do think Tungate's home points will be really missed we shall see.
  7. Just looked a mixed bag really, 8 pts in the Craven (2017) 6 pts for Rye House (2017) - 2018. 2 pts from 5 rides in the 90th Anniversary meeting. and 4 pts from four rides for Leicester.
  8. I am not worried but you pesky Pirates could be come March time.!!!!
  9. An interesting theory Steve it could come good, my worry with that will you collect anough heat wins.? Thinking back Birmingham nearly won it with a workman like side ( before Doyley upped it) there trump card was Smolinski at reserve.
  10. Is Wells that great on the big tracks? i am not convinced he would do great at home away yes certainly can score useful points for me Wolves is his home.
  11. Reserves win you nothing if you have no top end firepower, how many reserves do you think will move up and really cope in the top 5 ? it is a big ask.
  12. You got lucky last year fair play though, i will be surprised if a team wins it without having at least two riders averaging over 8.
  13. Have you anough firepower at the top end of the team? Kurtz, Holder have huge potential but if i was a Poole fan i might be a wee bit worried.
  14. I always thought Poole had first option on Lidsey ? he did watch some meetings there did he not?.If not i know it is a longshot but surely Matthew Gilmore and Brayden Mcguinness are destined to try British speedway soon.?
  15. I think Nick will be back Crazy at some stage in his career , i hope so and i think he will be a great signing for the Wolves.Your main point which is relevant and could be proved right has Rosco gone the same way as last year in building this side are they similar???? That side failed badly last year so why would 2019 be any different we shall see if Lampart struggles a decision there has to be made quickly though.
  16. Robin why has Nick stitched us up? he needs a new challenge also are the likes of Nielsen,Jackobsen,Berge,Andersson, reserves being bandied about are they that great not really. If we don't do anything this year it won't be just down to the reserves it will be that our top four have not done the business we shall see eh!!!
  17. Look i am open minded on Dawid if he does not cut it he will be replaced in 2012 he did really quite well .Since then he has improved but do i expect 4/5 points hopefully yes in a top five that won't be easy we shall see.Our top four i am more than happy with it has firepower if you look at Poole's maybe side loads of question marks to be answered.??
  18. I personally don't think he is a PL rider technically not great, also he has had good backing he has been unlucky with injury but that would concern me .Plus i see him at Swindon the other year and of course he has improved a lot did well at Scunny but believe it or not prefer the reserves we have also he has had a bad injury he has to comeback from that.
  19. With Pickering you have a real good shout a very promising rider indeed, Nielsen not for me not a fan he is our asset but I don't see the fascination with him.
  20. He won't be that but can those three riders get 10 /13 points a meeting between them ?? It will be diffficult Lisa, but i am really confident with this top four at home we will be hard to beat. Zach also when he is at it is very good at home he is capable of putting a point on his average.
  21. Our reserves are no mugs the simple fact last year was our top 5 never clicked together on the same day. This year's team looks different Musielak and Ellis can improve Batch is a good number 2 and Doyley well he is the best.
  22. Alot of teams who have a good top 5 Swindon did last year never have a great no 1 Swindon in 2019 have one the best.
  23. You can have the best reserve in the league but if you have not got the firepower it wont matter.
  24. Well those two reserves we have i am more than happy to take over Nielsen ( as an example) who is injury prone.Does this strength in depth really work? i would take the firepower of a few big hitters over the strength in depth theory. As a example Poole Holder and Kurtz both riders i like and rate but they will have to step up. If they dont score twenty plus points between them are Poole going to win many matches.??
