  1. I actually applaud what Ford is doing he is running a tight ship and in the climate we are in it is the right thing to do.The side is not my cup of tea but if Holder/ Kurtz step up they could challenge also it will be worth watching those two riders develope as we all know they have exciting potential.
  2. After watching Adam everyweek in 2018 he has improved greatly he to will up his average.Last year his figures were very false as he had a few falls when in winning positions so his average should be higher another bad mistake by Ford to let him go.
  3. 1.Wolves 2.Swindon 3. Belle Vue 4 Peterborough can't wait maybe the Witches will sign a couple of ringers.
  4. The side to beat for me Thorssell,Morris,Masters,Schlein, Howarth a very solid look about this side.
  5. Not convinced and i believe the Peterborough reserves might be vulnerable away.I believe Wolves, Swindon, Belle Vue all have better teams we shall see.
  6. I actually think you underate Jacob he was coming off a nasty injury and all in all his figures were not that bad.He actually impressed me at the Abbey he was quick and forceful.I see him averaging 7.80/8 this year.
  7. Dad's army are ok they will be great value at home away not convinced .
  8. If Pawlicki sign's i certainly would of kept Jacob, Pawlicki , Jacob,Masters what a three that is ok you might not of signed Morris but either way you will be a force in 2019.
  9. That would certainly give Becker a chance to find his feet a decent opportunity for him.
  10. I think Holder/ Kurtz have to score ten plus most weeks to make the playoffs especially away from home that could be a problem for them.
  11. Lampart actually did not do to badly over here in 2012. he averaged overall around 5.83.He contributed quite alot that year and arguably it was a tougher league then. But make no mistake it is a tough ask for him but if he can average 5 i will be happy if not we can replace him.
  12. Either way Wolves are very strong,Thorssell considering he was coming back from a nasty injury and riding in a tough no1 role it was not a disaster.Away he had four double figure scores and two paid double figure scores out of 13 matches average .He can put at least half a point on his average Pawlicki well i am a big fan of his if they go that way they will be no worse off i love watching Piotr ride.I dont know if Wolves are banking on Howarth being at reserve? at home they will be a tough nut to crack.
  13. I understand why Matt has assembled the side,to cut down on costs and that is the right thing to do in this particular climate.Holder and Brady i really like as riders and both have huge potential and being a speedway fan i want both to kick on if they do Poole will be a FORCE.
  14. Out of the side's assembled so far i would say Poole have the weakest team. Also i think the Poole track has to be improved to see the best of Jack Holder saying that i believe he will have a great season and onwards and upwards for him.For me Klindt Grajczonek,Worrall, are the weak links and heats 13/15 are going to be hard work for them.
  15. Worrall i am sure will be fine he is naturally fit, he will score well decent away.Dan will need time but he will ride through it Fricke if he is on it he can average 9 plus at home he is that good.Lidsey i have followed since his under 15/16 days he is a talent and cant wait to see him race. For me this Vue side looks exciting personally want Fricke to push on a real class act love watching him ride ADAMS (esc)!!!
  16. I dont see Peterborough winning anything entertaining yes Swindon and Belle Vue are very similar in alot of ways a mixture of youth and exsperience.Between them Fricke, Worrall, Bewley, Lidsey, Musielak, Zach,Ellis, Shanes, can all improve.
  17. A really good signing, he is a guy who can improve i wanted him at Swindon where he would of partnered Doyle. But Ipswich have a good signing here and i can see him challenging Auty/ Garrity for the number 1 spot at Scunthorpe also.
  18. The rules are what they are and your club has done very well. They are a club i am looking forward to see race at the Abbey. With the limited amount of real firepower at the top end ex) Doyley, Lambert, Iversen?? it is exciting that the league could have a strong heat 2 with the likes of Barker- Bjerre-N.B.J.Covatti. a real strong heat like going back to the 80s.
  19. Are those other riders named 1-5 riders? i think not i think Lampart has a period to come up to speed otherwise he goes.
  20. They are decent reserves but Barker ( who i like and enjoy watching is on the wane) Bjerre never been a fan of.Saying that they do look a good partnership but there is a slight niggle there for me that i am not convinced i do prefer Poole reserves.
  21. Poland and the U.K. are of course like chalk and cheese, but unlike yesteryear riders don't have to ride here now to become World class.I see those sort of riders just coming over here now for some pocket money often leaving there best aquipment at home.
  22. Ask Michael Lee in 1983 end of October dangerous is not the word.My point was i never see him ever being a World Champion but fair play went on and had a great career.
  23. I can remember Sam Ermolenko in his hair raising days who was nearly wiping everyone out and he went on to be World Champion. You predict what you think Castagna can average in 2019.???
  24. I dont think Drabik or Smektala would be a risk maybe Woryna just isn't good anough. I still think he could improve over here still but Lambert,Smektala,Drabik are a level above Woryna.
  25. Wolves who are they? na joking. Steve if they sign Thorssell/ Morris they look really strong JT will put at least half a point on his average. If they go a different route say Pawlicki they will still be strong i will be surprised if they get beat at home.
