I thought at the end of the 2018 season everybody could of got there heads together and tried to move the sport forward. It was desperate times and any input surely would of helped Buster in the long run.I dont know many sports who dont take into consideration of the paying customer but speedway still seems to be doing it.Look fair play to Buster for bailing the clubs out but he needs to start listening and bringing speedway to the attention of a new generation not just relying on the diehards of the sport.

He has not made much happen in two years plus has he.!!!

His job is to be the front of British speedway and so far has done a pretty poor job.

I actually think Chapman who is supposingly supposed to be the frontman of British speedway says absolute nothing .It is not a good sign does this bloke say anything??? does he not realise people want to hear what he says.?

That restaurant/stand at Oxford was probably the best place i have ever watched speedway along with the brilliant Plough Lane ( that place was special). From 1984/88 i probably only missed about five meetings Hagonshocker( forum member a great mate did the same.Along the way we saw the special Nielsen dominate and the likes of Cox,Sorensen Dugard develop that Friday night was a special one always remember Oxford had a brilliant souvenir shop.

1968/83 loved Swindon on a Saturday night when every visiting side had a true in/out no 1.

It used to hurt but we all used to laugh about it, sometimes when it was dusty we would go home looking like Michael Jackson great days though. -
A really good post and that side really has loads of positives and will be exciting to watch.I would say Vue's top two are powerful but for me Swindon's are better well i hope so anyway.!!!! Batchelor is on the level of Bjerre and Doyle will score double figure plus every meeting so i am expecting 20 plus from those two everyweek.

I really think Lidsey will excel at home, the NSS will suit him down to the ground away it will be difficult at times for him.For me for Belle Vue to do well they have to win all there home matches to get in the play/offs.Personally i would of signed Auty have Lidsey in the top five with Auty/ Berge at reserve mainly because i believe that side is stronger at home.Away Wells can score better than Auty but i am a true believer in winning all your home meetings first then build from there.

A weird one Tungate makes them much stronger and he has the potential to improve. I imagine the change was because he is a Ipswich/ Chapman asset and it saves him Chapman money. -
Mine is pretty concrete to be honest with another 20 easy to pick.

Barry Briggs. - Michael Lee. - Kenny Carter.- Ole Olsen.- Scott Autrey.- Malc Holloway.- Bob. Kilby. - Phil Crump. - Jason Crump. - Tomasz Gollob.

Very surprised with the Wells signing not particularly great at the NSS.I believe he is the weaklink in this side but Lidsey will eventually go in the top 5 and Wells will slip to reserve so it might not matter.

I can remember getting filled in on the 3/4 bends at the Abbey when they had a cheap side god it was like being hit by bullets. -
Sorry on phone at work WK (hope you are well) great rider Eddie was tragically murdered by his wife in later life.

I have always liked Bjerre since his Newcastle days and when he is on he is very quick. At home i can see him averaging 8.70-9.00?? away i am not so sure.Is he as reliable ??but if his confidence is carried on through his home form we all know just how good he can be.
-
Not really he was very very good at Wimbledon but like Dave Jessup not a rider i took to.
-
I think this side is bottom two material without changes, but yes it might surprise and we shall see.If Puk comes back???? fitter refreshed and rearing to go then it might be different as we all know what he is capable of.

Alot of pressure on Robert to produce everyweek, and big question marks against Kerr/Andersen .Also can Palm toft, Jorgensen, Proctor improve? i do believe though that Riss could push on this year. but surely there will be changes in this team throughout the campaign.
