  1. Without the likes of those riders named the league would be a sham, those older riders also give help and there guidance to the younger riders. As i see it no younger riders are missing out at the moment it is a great time for the UK for developing talent the future looks bright. The NL as I see it have a great balance and the league is a good product in its own right also do you think Danny Ayres is to old.?
  2. Great point but i would rather have that top five with another contributing at there level at reserve with Ellis Perks.
  3. Your opinion is respected and valid , my only criticism was you were criticising the level of the rider every rider has my utter respect.whatever the level they are.
  4. One reason for me Hyabb is Rasser has shown me he is a top five rider easily, borderlining on heat leader class. Why have a top five rider in who may struggle and my own opinion is i don't want to rely to much on Bellego without Jensen being in our top five.
  5. Steve i think why have Jensen beating reserves when he has shown us he can beat heat leaders.Doyle,Bellego,Ellis,Jensen, Batch is a very good five and Ellis Perks is contributing and battling as well.If we can get another rider to come in and get four or five this side could cope without Tobi odviously with Tobi we would be better we need to get the replacement's and shape of the team right.
  6. Totally missing the point my point was he was released by Mildenhall but why wouldn't he be able to take a guest booking or a individual meeting elsewhere.??? I am with you on youngsters yes they should get priority everytime but are you saying the likes of Ledwith,Bowen, Perry, Wilson, etc) are going nowhere and should be deprived of a place there has to be a balance. The NL is in a great place right now with Rowe,Palin, Thompson twins, Spooner, Ablitt, Pavitt, Gilkes, Kelly,Wirtzfield,Rathbone ( etc) all coming through. My main gripe is the sport has endless unnecessary rules that are in place your theory is that Wallinger is going nowhere but nobody stopped the likes of Jimmy Schibb, Ken Mckinlay,Malc Holloway ( etc ) doing a job and contributing at a lower level in the past.
  7. God man this is the NL young uns like Kemp, and a endless amount of young talent are getting opportunities there has to be a mix though. For example Wallinger gets released at Mildenhall gets a guest booking at Scunthorpe why stop him ? madness this sport is obsessed with rules Chris Holder and David Wallinger is not a great example to put your point across.
  8. What a pathetic comment not everybody can become world class, he has been released by Mildenhall so if he gets booking's he should be able to honour them.People have been saying for years this sport has pathetic rules in place , more attention should be going towards promoting the sport and making sure people are getting value for money and being entertained.
  9. I think that would make sense to pospone the youth event Teaboy, be interesting to see if maybe Spooner/ Jenkins ride really looking forward to it.
  10. I dont know the full line up yet, but i am personally really looking forward to Sunday.I really hope there is a decent turn out as i would love to think in the future it could be viable to have some NL fixtures. We heard on Monday that young Palin, Danyon Hume, Thompson twins, will be riding which will really spice the meeting up.Also it will be great to see young Swindon asset Anders Rowe get a few laps around the new circuit he is progressing brilliantly and he is a rider i look forward to see ride for the Robins in the near future. Also after the fixture we have the youth championship which should be great , young Palin going strong guns this year he will be hard to beat.
  11. Exactly a real compliment hyabb, sometimes i regret taking Leigh for granted forgetting just how good he was and making the most of seeing him everyweek.
  12. How good has Fricke been Phil this year? i have followed his scores and last night he looks to me like he is heading into prime years as a rider really quick i just hope he can crack the GP scene love watching him ride.
  13. I dont know what you think Hyabb but when the track has been poor ( All of the Swindon fans have admitted this) Troy has looked really tentative cautious. But when the track is decent he has gone to another level really quick riding some great racing lines looking a class act. This is the best i have seen Troy ride since the Copenhagen GP i really hope he can keep it going because we all know there is a world class rider in there.
  14. I dont know what meeting you were at last night Rob but it was not the same one as me.Heat 1 Berge made a bad mistake causing Fricke out very wide and nearly causing carnage but the track i felt was very good. There were fast times some great nick tuck racing full on .Fricke was electric at times really quick ( he missed the bumps !!) Batchelor was sublime maybe you are a guy who is not easily pleased.? As for the hole ? Batchelor who superbly drilled through on the line against Bjerre must of conveniently missed it.!!! Look this track is not perfect but our fans know that the management are doing great thing's to improve it and i believe this new track size is a breath of fresh air.
  15. Fair play to you forever!!! for being honest and open i hope they can get the track back to where it deserves to be because we all know when it is right it is a terrific racetrack.
  16. This track can get even better Batchelor has shown if you attack the track you can do well. This year i have seen more decent races than we have seen in the last 5 years.Still along away to go but most Robins fans are honest anough to say when the track has been crap. The Batchelor move on Bjerre said it all for me he drove through hard on the line because he had confidence in the track.
  17. Another goodnight some really good racing again, i have to say the Aces were very disappointing they are better than that.Batchelor was sublime rasser again was outstanding Perks also rode his nuts off for scant reward he is making a good contribution though. For the Aces Fricke looked mighty quick, when he attacked those first and second bends it was like watching Adams all over again. Both these sides will be in the play/offs but i believe the Aces may have to replace Wells along the way.
  18. He has not looked dominant this year thus far, the track has been up and down.Heeps beat Doyley on merit and if i hazard a guess i recon it could be 1 a piece tonight.
  19. Could Anders Thomsen be an option? i cant see Tobi being back within two month's so it is going to be a difficult decision for Rosco.
  20. Cant wait for this meeting a tough ask with no Tobi i think a narrow home win.If the track is as good as the other week i can see Fricke having a field day he is improving rapidly i love watching him ride reminds me so much of Leigh Adams.
  21. Will Gilkes be fit for the 23rd the Swindon match?
  22. Young Rowe at Swindon is improving rapidly, and i have followed him along with A- ORLOV ( Avid Swindon fan) since his mini track appearances at the Abbey. My big hope is Anders can go Prem with the Robins by 2021/22 as you said we have some real talent coming through now and the N.L is a terrific route to come through.
  23. A terrific amount of talent in this side reminds me of going back to the great Dent Oliver era young lads getting a chance.I hope two or three come out of this period and go on and have careers in speedway.Just naming a few Bickley, Rowe, Palin, Thompson ( 2) Kelly, Ablitt, Gilkes, Mcgurk(2) Simpson,Freeman, Wirtzfield,(etc) how exciting is the NL just shows you what that plank Cook knows about speedway.
  24. Really would be great if Mr Bishop did, other posters over the month's have really praised how good the Isle of Wight is.In this day and age and in this difficult climate under Bishop they are reaching out a great family day out.He seems to have a balance pay the bills get some of the new punters back again and put money into the future .
