If we can win our next four home meeting's preferably taking maximum points we are back in the hunt.As Orion said we are one rider short of being the best team in the league get a fit anough Tobi/ Stefan back and we will be fine.

With or without the holes? a cheap option a patched up job maybe it shows that Matt's heart is not in it anymore and he is hanging on in there out of loyalty. In my opinion Swindon's racetrack is above Poole's now and week on week it is getting better and more consistent.Hand on heart two or three years ago i never would of said that, you just dig holes for yourself in total denial all you had to say was there were some issues to deal with.None of the fans on the forum want Poole to be a poor track we all know when it is at it's best just how good it can be.

Last season tell boy Swindon's track came under real scrutiny, there was the Leicester postponement Vaculiv got injured. On that occasion the weather was the main factor but a few weeks later we had huge problems on bend four Nick Morris fell three weeks on the trot in the same place. Our management recognised something had to be done and that led to them changing the shape of the track before the season started. This cost them money and we actually had to postpone the first meeting of the season look the place is still not perfect now but the racing has improved so much the track is getting better by the week.Poole on the other hand need to bite the bullet and rectify the problem straight away the track has looked dangerous at times and Shovlar by saying what he has about it is in complete denial.

Pleased with a point after a battling performance, we now have, four home meeting's coming up quickly so we can push on.We can win all those matches that point tonight could be vital come the end of the season.Hopefully get Tobi back and resolve that number seven position all is not lost season still alive. -

Did you forget what Auty averaged last year at home? this year he has not been quite at that level but is still averaging 9 plus.Away he has been poor a lack of meetings have not helped his gating has always been his Achilles heel.I wonder if he could try to get someone in to help in that department would that help who knows. -

I can see nothing more than a home win, we need to start turning thing's around away from home.I just cant see it happening for us i so hope i am wrong and i will be listening with interest to the radio commentary we might sneak a point. -
Steve and Scott came to Britain together at the same time. You would think they were total opposites, Scott...the humble quiet polite guy, Steve...the arrogant, loud aggressive guy. But Steve off of the track was actually very quiet, polite and well mannered.Competition brought out the worst in him, I saw it first hand! I met Steve once and what a nice guy he was very quiet not like his reputation at all.As a rider he was very tough indeed took no prisoners i do remember when poor old Steve took the blame at Reading when clearly Milan Spinka caused carnage which caused Tony Briggs to crash.Steve and Barry Briggs had a right old ding dong over that the crowd loved it though all part and parcel of speedway then.

He had a little knock on the head i believe, that is why he stopped supporting Swindon and changed clubs i wonder if he supported Poole when they were bottom of the league?? -

It is not obvious to me IF we get in the playoffs Poole would be the team i would pick they are the weakest in my opinion. After seeing Ipswich tonight cant see Poole beating them over two legs either. -
Ipswich were great tonight disciplined frustrating filled the minor places the Budgies god they hardly made a gate all night.Kennett was great value and Pieszcek was awesome showing us just what he is capable of.I remember the u21 round at king's Lynn the other year and he was class he was class tonight. The ride from Doyley in heat 15 was top drawer stuff have to say i am worried now need to get Musielak back???? and get an astute reserve to replace Stefan it won't be easy chuffed to just win tonight,
