GWC i thought i was going mad i thought he was averaging about 4.60 Ellis has really rode well. Why have rolling averages? why not just have a 2019 figure all these rules and averages are baffling more complex than they have to be.

Would you be happy with a point Steve or are you more ambitious than that.? I predicted Wolves to win the league so i have been surprised you have not quite clicked thus far.Douglas has made you stronger but he has not quite mastered his home track yet(very difficult) i am looking forward to tonight good luck hope the best side wins.

Just looked at the averages Ellis Perks only averaging 2.92 ??? totally shocked. He has rode well rode hard and has impressed me those figures are so false.

Was that the hole Shovlar denied was there yet it was as big as the mersey tunnel. -
Pie in the sky you have more chance of walking on the moon than what you suggest happening.Look i am all for cutting the cloth accordingly making thing's pay but riders need to earn reasonable money they have to they deserve to they risk there life's to give us the sport we all love.If riders were riding for peanuts i would rather the sport go it is a tough sport a skilled sport and i would not exspect any rider to ride for next to nothing they deserve better than that.

Your last sentence is total nonsense.

Do Poole need to up there game in that department Phil??? , Swindon has been dire for a number of years now yet they addressed the problem and spent money and the entertainment element has improved no end.Poole are a great club have good fans but they need to sort there track out sometime soon a real shame because the track was decent wait to get a backlash.!!!! -

That is a great way at looking at it Ove i am quite happy to stay as it is a new stadium is not a must for me.The track has changed for the better and i would like to think in years to come the track would be considered .For the meetings of the calibre of the BLRC, British semi final's ( ect). -
Really gutting the management have done a great job they deserve better the racing has been excellent this year.I must admit the crowds have not looked good on the eye but the numbers on the old cheap side have gone up.Speedway has to start planning for changes in October heads out of the sand and try and come up with some answers maybe the decline is terminal though.

Is this meeting on the radio tonight.? -
I hope it is a decent night and you enjoy the racing Bruno, recently we have been blessed with Rasmus Jensen making several passes from the back.I just hope i have not put a dampener on thing's and you are served up a borefest. This year apart from the TV meeting the racing has been very enjoyable this Thursday you have two teams motivated to get a result should be good.

Isle of Wight v Oxford Select 1st August
Sidney the robin replied to crazysue's topic in National League Speedway
Like Eastbourne the media side of thing's at the IOW have come along way, i enjoy all the regular podcasts and interviews on the internet great stuff. -
On thursday we have a crucial encounter with Wolves and i believe it will be a close affair. After tonight's meeting Wolves v Belle Vue Wolves could be back in the top four and looking to consolidate at the Abbey stadium.Swindon will then have five matches in hand over Belle Vue and need to collect all the points to close the gap.The reserves are the key for me Wolves look mighty strong in that department Howarth/ Douglas i just hope Ellis can continue his good form as he has ridden very well also Vissing has chipped in with useful points. If Thorssell is back to his old self i think it could be a very tight 6/8 point win for the Robins?? my heart tells me Wolves are capable of nicking a point.
