  1. Behind Wells really???? you have a strange way of building teams you also said on another thread King's Lynn could do a Ipswich this year? .And that Lambert,Riss,Cook, had more potential to improve there averages than Doyle,Batch,Jensen they could well improve there averages but at the end of the day what is the better three Swindon is by quite a way .Yes try to get riders who can improve there averages but as examples Wells, Proctor are two riders who have there averages for a reason they are on the slide Wells in a top 5 no way.
  2. Really chuffed with this signing a longterm view to it as well along with Anders Rowe.Does this mean Jordan comes in on a four and Ellis Perks starts at reserve? If so if it works out those two might rotate there position every month which is good.Jordan, Pickering,Nicol, Douglas, Jeppesen, were the riders i liked so for the Robins to get Jordan it is a coup and to have Jason and Batch to help will be a real plus.
  3. Jarman, Timmo, Dews, Hasse, Pander, Samuelson, Gooddy, Genz, Strachan all made of the same ilk whatever level.
  4. Totally he will be a great signing for anyone hopefully he will be back with the Robins at some stage in his career.
  5. With this great thread still running did anyone see much of speedy Pete Jarman in his early career Stoke. 1960... ??? He was a rider i only saw from late 60s to 70s and for me he was in the mould of Jimmy Squibb a real character a tough but fair rider.
  6. Nicol is a longterm signing who I feel will dial in well at his home track.Howarth also might feel he needs a change of scenery to try to improve and kick on again in his career.Over the years Wolves have done brilliantly in breeding continuity with there riders and having a core of a side in place Becker,Douglas, Nicol are three improvers and they are all riders i would of took at Swindon the future looks bright at Wolves.
  7. No not at all i see Smith win a heat two at the Abbey a year or so before his stint in the Robins team and for me he never kicked on.He had chances at Glasgow and Sheffield and did not push on in the Championship. Also with riders like Rowe/Bickley (examples) to progress they need to be riding two leagues certainly if they are stopped riding the NL (if there is one?. Would i rather have Anders scoring between 0/ 3 points per meeting gaining experience and having a longterm future for us or have someone else on a three who is also likely to struggle i would go with Anders.
  8. No chance of that what i do hope is for the Lynn fans is that Lambert comes back stronger and is back to his best in 2020.
  9. I think the opposite he has pushed for this chance maybe it is to early but the experience he will gain will be invaluable.
  10. Rowe is a better rider than Smith at the same stage BK in my opinion technically better and if you look back Smith regressed badly ..He had endless chances at Championship level and never made it Rowe is on a progressive path now a tough few years ahead for him but he is a determined lad.
  11. A good move and we all know the Swindon management will not expect any miracles from Anders. The good thing is Alun has been there himself so he can identify in what this move means for Anders.Going back in time hand on heart was Wellie, Alun, and bless him Martin Hewlett ever ready to move up in the top league when they did? probably not but they all had determination and got through some tough times.Anders will have to do that as well and if he can be on the pace learn as he goes along he should be ok.It is a big ask but the main plus for me is he is our asset and British. Hopefully in the long run the club and the rider gains and it is great to have a young local rider in our team again.
  12. Weirdo certainly. Rude you love a response trying to be impartial but not very good at it.
  13. You me ole mucker using your left hand enjoy eh what a Saddo, pissing the bed you better give mummy a nudge don't go to far Saddo.

  16. Your one to seven with Wells in it looks pretty sad saying that you know better than Rosco .You need to take stock and say well -------- nothing.
  17. British Finals do your research Steve let me know ? Howarth has been ahead because he has been given chances certainly at monmore a real homer track more so than any other track in the country. Also in any Championship year Howarth has never been a number 1 averaging 8.80 / 9.00 a true number one Auty has at least give him credit for that.
  18. I knew you would pipe up being being a mega laugh you make me laugh you are a P?.....!!You tell me on British Final's appearances Auty,Howarth, who qualified on merit on every appearance is that simple anough for you are you capable ??? probably not.
  19. How many British Finals has Howarth made against Auty ? don't forget Auty missed a couple? through injury.
  20. Birmingham the Year they kept the same side were terrific they should of been champions Auty did well that year or was he rubbish? Wells when i saw him in 2019 was atrocious slow god slow how anyone on any average now would consider him good luck.
  21. Totally agree Auty his Achilles heel has always been his atrocious gating but what i see of Wells last year in the Prem he looked slow.Even away as an example only an example at Swindon, Perks, Vissing/ Rowe whoever ??? would i be worried about Berge/Wells/T.Kurtz no. Sheffield i have always liked them going back to the valentine,Wilson,Paulson days great club great track after Swindon they are my next team in the prem
  22. Really , Wells is a rider who was decent at the homer Wolves venue but NOW he Is not a prem rider. My take was did i think Auty and certainly Vissing NOW a better bet than Wells/T.Kurtz./ Berge.Berge is talented bloody frustrating and he will be fine at Owlerton but away Berge/Kurtz or maybe Wells won't scare to many.
