Eaces1 i was beginning to think that everybody saw Shawn as an also ran,Shawn for me was the better rider of the two in the eighties.

I really hope Chris comes back to his near best, i think he has had a rest no Aussie season think he could make an impression.SCB fair play to him we don't always see i to eye he believes Holder could comeback at a high level.? I think at times in Sweden/Poland last year Chris rode well at times he is not far away I hope not.😀

Steve just shows me mate,that everybody's opinion is valid Mike Lee who was a great rider himself said he felt Ricko took it to another level was the best ever.That quote shocked me Mauger when i was a young lad turned up aquipment spot on a lovely van Ivan really took speedway to a new level.Going back to Ricko he was a great rider myself did not see him ride regular looking back at my programmes with GPS i think I see him ride about sixty times did i think he would achieve what he did a big No for me.😀

Agree when Ricko got his third place behind Jan O i really liked him to be honest Steve he won it 6 times can't dispute that.But the format when he won it i think was easier for me he is not in my top four ever can't be but we can never dispute he was a great great rider.

Around Belle Vue Mauger/Briggs for me would of been a formidable pair ? how good was Michanek/T.Jansson as a partnership not bad.!

Dudek,i would love to see him ride over here,if he does it will be with the Pirates.This year though he has a full calendar be very surprised if he did any meeting's over here hope he does!! touch wood he qualifies for the full GP series.

Those last two Halifax, i hope you are right plus i think Andrews(Eastie) might improve hope so what ever happened to Adam Exstance Buxton I see him once he impressed me got injured will he be back? hope so.? His dad was decent even though at times he rode at no 1 when the side was poor.

Ooop's forgot i do like all those named, Hans surely is capable of coming back with a bang? Be really interested in what other supporters think for me my biggest wish is for some of the NL lads to bridge the gap and push on for PL racing.Ellis i think will really do well at home he has impressed me when riding Poole needs to chip in away as well.

With the season just around the corner and i can't wait, what are your five riders to improve and up there averages here goes Craig Cook, Nicholaij-Busk-Jackobsen,Brady Kurtz,Josh Auty,Josh Bailey ( to average over three).

Not the oldest excuse just that Emil has a nice family life,wants to earn the most amount of money before he retires.Nice to have TITLES Humph but do they pay the bills? when he retires i think unless he is badly injured he will have a nice start for his next niche in his life.Being in the Series is not cheap,and i want all the riders to be rewarded more they deserve it.But at the moment the rewards are poor, what would you do Humph?earn more money or try to win the Roll of Honour and be in the history books for less reward.

Harsh Steve at his best he is the best rider in the world for me his family life and other stuff come first that will change and he should be welcomed back.

Be great to see him back he is Tai's biggest threat along with young Pawlicki,also with a bit of luck Dudek will push on.

It is not a reliable guide,but Tungate has shown at times he is up there with those blokes at his best, can he add the consistency we shall see.After Doyle Holder for me the Aussie's are all a muchness people have also forgotten Sedgemen he really has improved the last few seasons and he could have a big season to.

He was in this years Aussie championships blue boy? and that is with Tungate getting an ex(tapes) at Mildura and getting out of shape in a couple of races.Are you telling me Tungate was not there with Nick,Sedgy,Masters over a series?

Foxhall when I went there i know it was centuries ago but it was a dust bowl a poor track rough as F... if you look at Tungates results on the bigger tracks mixed results i know but at times he showed real quality.

Baldy I guess you have never been a fan of Rohan? you are not really convinced with him.In speedway terms is he that experienced? for me he needed a change and I believe he will score big at Somerset and do well at Swindon .At his best he is there with Morris,North (ect so a big season for him I think he should of left Ipswich a year or so ago in my exsperience Foxhall Ipswich was always as slick as a board.

I am not convinced North would average much above seven to be honest.

North is no world beater, and Tungate could surprise, being at Somerset will help i believe he will score big points there.

Do you think Wells has improved? for me he is a steady Eddie sort no more.Thorssell i like a lot if he can improve his away form he can push on i think there is a very good rider in there somewhere.

Wells has reached his level and for me is a bit like Thorssell ( who I like) a bit of a homer.Tungate is capable of much better he has kicked on and he could go up a level his results in Aussie have been good.Whenever i have seen Rohan the speed has been there worth a punt i believe.

I am not convinced that Wells would of been the answer ,Tungate to me he looks like he has improved going by his results in Aussie.I have always liked him as a rider hope he gets on the pace from the off.

Michelsen is very decent, Tungate i like he has improved not keen on Wells who has been mentioned.

Thanks,to be honest i really enjoy the years gone by thread and there are some real good blokes on here that we can all learn a bit off.There are a few on here who we know who they are that really get to me big time,for me to ignore and say nothing.?

I am very sorry Norbold will not even make a post again, like TWK i give in give up don't really enjoy reading the posts anymore. I do opologise for this thread and i was very wrong in doing what i did i have learned loads from you over the years i hope you continue enjoying and watching your speedway.
