What do you remember about the Hackney side with Simmo Pettman (ect ) in it ? i was a big Trevor Banks fan and never got to see him ride for Hackney at Home see him away and regular grass track action in the Ace/Aces (ect a big regret of mine that i never got to Hackney after there BL days😤

If Newman out scores Ellis over the two matches i think SCB said by three points he will go in the top five is that right.? Whatever happens Ellis has started the season like a train, at the Abbey the other week he really had his gating boots on was smooth looked a lot quicker and more aggressive.I know maybe he did not like the Lakeside track but he would of learned a lot from that experience and i hope Adam now can kick on in his career chuffed for him as we all knew he had the talent.

For me going to the Wick on a Friday night was brilliant I enjoyed all my visits there.A eight o'clock start was strange but as a racing track it was one of the best, i put in on par with the brilliant old Blackbird Rd Leicester.Thommo was my favourite racer ever to ride for Hackney but for me Bengt Banger Jansson was the best rider i ever saw first see Mark Loram as a mascot and then a rider there and what a exciting brilliant rider he turned out to be.

Really enjoyed last night Wolves look to me to have a very solid 1/6 Bech still needs to improve though for me .Thorssell a slow improver and Masters look really useful,and i can see Wolves being in the mix come the end of the season.Swindon well this side is not good anough,it could improve but apart from Charlie/Josh/Doyley last night was a bad night for the Budgies.

This Polish lad i work with,says Woryna is really keen to do well and after settling in could do quite well his performances in Poland are quite encouraging as well he could surprise this year.

Most people I speak to recognise and respect that Emil has a different agenda a different lifestyle, do you???.Tai is a great rider no doubt but most people i know within speedway know that Ward ( was) and /Emil are on par with Tai easily. Please Witcher if you can THINK before you comment are you telling me Emil is not at the level of your beloved Tai.??

If he enters Emil is thereabouts, for me without Darcy he is the best rider in the world saying that I would love Ta to i win more titles.

Funny thing is Rob with his reputation Steve is so misunderstood,a really nice guy speaks well and he was a very good rider should of achieved more.In the Tests for the USA he did great held his own easily and at that time was a great era for me.Also when Kelly died he was there and with the rest of the guys he was really liked good rider tough rider.

I think and have heard that Emil will be in the series next year hope so we will see? For me without Darcy he is the best rider in the world and he would be in front of Darcy just.Emil,Darcy,Tai what an era there could of been but i would put Emil Darcy / over Tai.

He wasn't sometimes Steve not at all ,they often had misunderstandings but who would argue with Steve.? Malc did say they got on well and he was a really nice bloke there partnership was decent.They beat the Collins/Grahame partnership a few times and for me those Cradley lads were one of the best partnerships ever.

Steve Gresham he held his own in the great England v USA tests,was very talented and I remember his partnership with Holloway with the Robins that was very good indeed.

I agree see Evitts as a 16 year old for Birmingham in a tough BL and he impressed me straight away a nice riding style ( did he ride under aged?). What surprised me with Neil was that he even began to ride the big racey tracks well.He said himself in the Carter dvd that he always had great aquipment he actually commented that Carters was sometimes inferior.

Cox see him first at Rye under Len rated him at Oxford was really decent reached the final in 86 with Evitts (who I liked) had a good career did Marvyn underachieve ? a tough one to answer really.

Can't have it both ways my friend you are a roll of honour fanatic gospel to you Remember Nicki v Gollob??? .Gollob is MILES ahead of Sam on ability natural talent and achievement, be consistent how can you rate Gollob just above Sam ( what a laugh)Sam does well to be in front of his fellow teammates behind Penhall, Autrey, Sigalos, Moran, Greg in my book only my humble opinion though not gospel.😀😀

Can remember Hendry getting spanked by Mark Johnson Allen many times Ooop's, Davis 1/10 to Knowles happens to all great champions. Sam was a great rider but not as good as Shawn in the eighties.

I think Aces like you said if you want to stand pay less the option is there, 23 quid is a lot but if you love speedway the track is good and facilities are good it is not bad compared to 17 quid at an old run down early nineteenth century facility.

Lisa did Lewis have one really good meeting at Poole when if i remember rightly was mega quick on the night also his record at Poole ain't bad.Hope Lewis has a great year, the ability is there the main thing for him i believe is to enjoy his racing.
