  1. The same as you Steve my biggest regret was not seeing Craven or Bjorn Knutsson. Also have seen all the modern day riders Woffy (ect) presuming you have not seen them because of your break from the sport get along and see them mate your list is impressive.
  2. He was never a contender my take Colin was he was no mug and if he was a mug god there must of been endless others.
  3. Did you see him ride ? see the ERA in the bigger picture how fickle are people. Was Wilson, Louis,Boocock (both) Betts,Simmo, Ashby just also rans.Have a look at Ashby at Norden 1975 when he was one of the best riders in the world when that was a vintage era. Steve, Norden 1975 his world final record was poor but he was a rider.
  4. The only difference is Witcher did you see racing in different era's ? i did and loads of others on here have seen loads more than me or you that's where your opinion means zilch sorry.!
  5. You would know have you just licked his ass.?😀😀
  6. So did you ever see him ride Cretin ? No you just see the rubbishey stuff in the crappy nineties then pi....d off to Portugal you have no guile or respect have you a total p...,! for me Plank I meant and that is being generous.😡
  7. Witcher I admire Tai ,he has done really well i can see why people are bitter towards him though. His first try in the GPS he was totally out of his depth, he got a wild card entry into the WS i think he was a 500/1 outsider? is that right? Now to get in the series is so hard as i have said before the series is a closed shop hope Dudek Vaculiev, get in don't have to rely on a favour or two to get in.My point is Tai is a great champion but he has been so lucky over a period to make his mark fair play i support Tai hope he wins a third title.
  8. And the sadly missed Vic Harding never see him ride for Sunderland but see him ride for Weymouth/Hackney welcome back WK.
  9. I don't know what the answer is Tony to be honest, at Swindon our crowds are getting lower by the minute maybe 1000? were there against the Aces.Scunny have a great track have exciting riders has a promoter that listens but still the crowd is low. This week for example Swindon have a free week, i believe people can get used to not going now with alot more things to do.
  10. I predicted Josh would average well over three in the PL,and all the Scunny supporters seem to have really taken to him.A three point plus average seems easy to get but for Josh it is a huge step from the NL he is at the right club in Scunny also having a great home racing track helps.
  11. Are you saying that Woryna has no ability?if you had assembled a half decent side you would be able to give Woryna the time he needed. With the horrific injury he got i doubt he will be back this year anyway but when i have seen him he looks half decent.
  12. Surely big Josh will be in the Scunny WC semi final ? saying that knowing how British speedway is run they will probably bung him in at Glasgow. Two big sixteen point home totals out of four matches be great if Josh can really get some continuous double figure scores.
  13. Speedway now is nothing like Yesteryear not in my Opinion anyway.
  14. I hope Leicester succeed, chuffed to hear it was a decent meeting last night in Glyn Taylor they have a honest man who is trying his hardest with the track prep. The Swindon meeting at times showed the track has potential, also the management are trying different things the 10 pound offer as an example good luck to Leicester Speedway for the rest of the season.
  15. Stan Stevens for me remind me so much of a Mike Keen and a Clive Hitch all of them fans favourites none of them world beaters but for me made speedway a special sport. That is what i miss in speedway the most now, teams never stick together continuous team changes the fans can't identify with them anymore.I wish we could have the days back of riders being long club servants, won't ever happen now.
  16. Klindt as a rider I cannot stand hit and miss even at PL level,he can be awful to be fair good on his day similar to a Finn Jensen for me.
  17. All those riders you mentioned "BOBBATH" we're all pretty hard riders fair of course, Tommy R only see ride four or five times decent and tough as old boots.George Hunter also was a very good tough fair rider remembered for his fateful spill with Pete Craven but in his own right George was decent.
  18. You would think i was the only one who has ever got suspended on this forum. And talking of Legends you certainly are one of those, i will let people make there own judgement on why.
  19. I give people abuse who deserve it,i would include you in that but i don't know you from Adam ( thank god he says ) My take is if you think it is boring tripe why are you reading it? get a life stop the moaning.☹️
  20. What a really good performance from the Budgies, the Aces looked really slow from the tapes and looked rusty. The track was quite slick and it was not a great nights racing Doyley really on it and i am chuffed Sedgy looks like he has turned the corner. As for these stupid RULES in speedway what muppet make them up ? moving draft riders into a heat leader position and well the R/R rule what a farce that is.
  21. Really surprised Budgies 5/6 Aces Evs at Ladbrokes will have a bit of evens.Doyle to score over 11 Cook to score over 8.Who recons Jacobs will beat Nielsen in heat 2.?
  22. James at Buxton in 2003 was terrific really gutted how he did not progress some of his passes were top drawer.
  23. How good was Adams/Zagar together? awesome worth the admission alone to see them i first see Zagar ride with Malc Holloway at Trelawney.😀
