Swindon - Kings Lynn 19.5.16
Sidney the robin replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You are so right no one reacted to Batch really did they ? saying that he rode ok.Niels / Doyley pocket money for them but god this league has problems some races a massive difference in ability. As a example a rider years ago a rider who rode at number 6 away he had the reserve race a heat six and a heat nine if he was lucky.Ok he might score 0 but tonight there was nearly two different races going on a shame really but i will stress again the track looked crap. -

This meeting was poor i might be over critical but the track looked s...e to me.Niels looked good, chuffed for Sedgy but the track looked crap not a great nights racing. Also now some of these lower riders some draft riders are getting dropped by big distances between first and fourth strung out like the washing. -

A home win i think, but it could be a dangerous match for the Robins.Puk, Batch,Lambert, Mads, can all score points around the Abbey Wilkinson will race for everything a proper racer. Huckenbeck looks a decent rider and Lewis could chip in to with vital points important races with Nielsen in two heats looking forward to it. -

Poole Pirates Vs Leicester Lions 18/5/16
Sidney the robin replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
At Swindon i believe if the meeting is called off after a certain time they have to still pay rent ? I don't know what most people think but i am not interested in wet meetings i would rather have a early decision.Different if you have started the meeting then by all means make do and i have seen some really good meetings in the wet. -

Sidney the robin replied to a4poster's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I havent the time to look back on posts, but for the life of me i can never ever remember Witcher backing down and maybe saying you know what you might have a point. You eaces1 are one of the decent ones we don't always agree but your style is not to make people feel inferior which is very important in my eyes. -

"Aces i am of the same opinion as you. -
Your opinions often are not FACT though are they? they are in your head you never have been able to grasp this.I say speedway was better in Yesteryear ( as a example) you say not who is right? none of us just an opinion opinions make the world go around. You carry on my friend giving your opinion nowt wrong with that, there are some decent people on here who are good fun as Colin said if we can all learn a bit along the way gotta be good.

I think WK is like me stopped coming on here for a bit, still likes certain threads/posters/people but by not coming on here the likes of you and Witcher WIN.On another thread we see it all to often,Gresham getting set upon by a set of Wolves fair play to him though held his own and a lot of what he said i agreed with.Come on "Orion you and Witcher need to have a real good look at yourself who have you not crossed on this forum at one stage or another? not many.Myself i have made loads of bad mistakes on this forum i admit that but i know along the way i have made a few friends on this forum and enjoy speaking to them on a speedway night out .The crap Gresham has taken was like a lot of what i have taken over the years( a lot of it my own fault i admit) but just remember debate is about OPINIONS winning a debate is not important. -
Great 'tape Touchers'
Sidney the robin replied to Ommer Mon's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
At Ipswich in the Ebdon fiasco did it , and even to this day that rule is a joke if you guess the start and don't break the tapes what's the problem.?The rule can't have it both ways called back if the ref thinks you tried to jump the start and also exclude you if you hit the tapes a joke of a rule. -

But he regrouped and conquered it something Mike Lee never did he could of but didn't. -
A poor post those riders you named believe me are good riders you even forgot Pawlicki did you ever see him ride??Gollob was a class act for me a better rider than Pedersen/And Hancock will be slammed for this .Ok only won one title but Gollob for me was quality these Poles now are well decent but to be there on a par TG will take some doing.

Malc Holloway Never Forgotten.
Sidney the robin replied to Sidney the robin's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Never really liked Bob riding for Oxford did not look right for me like Broady/Crash/he was Swindon through and through.Bob had a massive influence on Malc's and Roscoes career what a character he was but often what gets forgotten is just how good a rider Kilb was.
