  1. Did he win his last ride ride to qualify ?watched a old Dvd Adams beating Mark to the under 21s championship Gollob was there to.
  2. Keegan was a national hero left Liverpool for a different country/challenge he was never slated he was applauded when he came back to play.
  3. "Dazzafl" if you get yourself a new job ,and leave your job now is that any different to Tai?again your decision your life it is so simple really.Going off the subject a silly example i know, did the public crucify Kevin Keegan when he left Liverpool a great club to sign for Hamburg i think not.
  4. Have you not got any idea? right Tai rides Poland/Sweden/ every week that is his living Bread/Butter for him that is his priority. Then the series with it,also in the past he has even done some European Championship meetings where does Britain fit in into a seven day week.Tai owes us the British public zilch in my opinion his career his life he makes the call.
  5. If the EL was a major force like it was in yesteryear as the BL was you would have a point. But England is now an after thought,a hindrance to riders most people know and except that be great to see Tai ride at the superb new Belle Vue track in the WTC.
  6. Funny thing is "Gavan" i like kyle i want all brits to improve but the thing Steve has over the riders named is his gating.Maybe i am wrong is there still resentment of that iffy Belle Vue v Poole fixture.?
  7. Have to say that is strange R.Worrall was poor in the B.Final for me does not ride that track great anyway.Ok it is a ten man squad and it does not matter but please Rosco get it right Garrity for me should be in the ten.
  8. BL i thought Lee averaged 7.43 for Lynn in his double up year in 75 with Boston then averaged 9.43 as a fulltime Star aged 17 in 1976. And Stanley Stevens beat Sir Briggo😀
  9. He was a top Notcher BL so unlucky with injury Sverre and Knutsson are two who often get forgotten both great riders.
  10. Weird thing is i was never a fan of Woffy first of all, but i changed my mind i so admire what he has achieved. As for his Nationality he is English his dad who i see ride was a real character when i first see him ride what a really exciting rider to watch. When Rob went the hurt spurred Tai on i think, when he has a good day he thinks of his dad i am sure.He got his WCard entry as a 500/1 outsider in the series i did not agree i was so wrong boy did he take the P... took his chance.Over the years i supported PC (prefered Lee😀) Loramski,Screen, and now Tai we should support him why do us Brits knock people down strange really.
  11. I am a great fan of Niels he was going to follow Tai's path and miss out Britain he never did he has not started the series well.Honestly over this six month period there schedule is brutal i understand that most people do you have to do what is best for you.
  12. Never ever see KK using wide lines like he did last night spec heat 15 he was really thinking about his racing.
  13. Have been doing my research pictures (ect) memorabilia on about 100 riders to be going along with.Have picked out five that i have started with Gooch,Harrfeldt, Forrest,Roccio,Bradshaw (West Ham RIP).Roccio, Forrest(who i would loved to have seen) Bradshaw are three of those that i never see ride be great to here everyones respected views.😀
  14. Charlie Monk was a an interesting rider for me a top boy in mid sixties won the Wills International was it? unluckily never reached a world final.Never ever see him ride but my uncle really rated him how good was Billy Bales BL.?
  15. Honestly "Crazy, Shovlar does talk rubbish at times ,the meeting you mentioned Steve scored paid 6 from number 2 Newman scored 4 from reserve.Gavan has done this debate to death but he is right, Auty,Wright,Starke,Worrall, are all good anough to replace Newman easily. In my view all of those four are better riders ,Worrall if anything has pushed on has Steve got something against Belle Vue? or Worrall ? or does he just OVERATE Newman.?
  16. E.Boocock when he moved up in 65 was it? was he just a six pointer then? he really improved at a fast rate.
  17. Mirac you would have to say was thrown into a higher standard than Lee was he was some rider. In my lifetime Lee/Ward are the most talented younger riders i ever saw ride Screen and Loram would get a mention to.
  18. How many 16 year olds ended up as a no 1 with a nine point average in there rookie season. This also and some will disagree was in a very tough competetive NL full of different teams different types of tracks a different challenge at every track.
  19. Really pleased for Lambert really has improved stuck at it worked really hard.
  20. Remember seeing him at our practice ER when he rode for us and thinking how good is he.Frustrating but a class act can he rectify his reputation and get back in the series hope he does.
  21. Sorry BL the challenge meeting or some cup ?at Hyde Rd was for Boston you are right. He ended up as no1 aged 16 riding in the NLRC he did go to Hyde Rd for regular training rides aged 14/15 when connected to Mildenhall.
  22. Can you remember Lee scoring 6 points aged 16 for Mildenhall and when he had a great race with PC in the Golden jubilee meeting after PC had beaten Davey for the Helmet.?
  23. Dont think he was poor there, but would have a guess and say his overall league average was barely 9.00..? there. In 83 in the BLRC after a 0 first time out when he got filled in, when he and Carter were looking for each other i think Petersen/Andersson sneaked through after that he was flying.
