God Addio i am not six foot under yet a flask never,🤓speedway is a special sport and as you say i still enjoy it maybe not as much as the good old days but then you see a great race and the enthusiasm comes flooding back.

These points are so right do you think Lee and Carter could of won a title? the old saying is though you can only beat what is put in front of you on a given day and hope the luck is with you.Emil if he is determined he could still do it at the week end he showed he still has the class so fast when he hit the front..How many people thought Crump/ Gollob maybe would not win a title but they did they stuck at it but this is where Tai has a massive advantage the first title to win for me is the hardest.

Speedway has been a huge part of my life,my childhood years with my regular speedway jaunts were great fun.I still love the sport and last year when i had the pleasure of seeing Darcy ride for us it was like going back to the Leigh years watching a class act everyweek.I have been lucky in that respect with the Robins having riders such as Briggo,Broady,Crash,Kilb,Crumpie,Autrey,and of course Leigh with Doyley now tearing it up.My wish is for the sport to prosper and move forward in my lifetime,the potential is there will it happen i have my doubts.SCB as you are the stats man and know the rulebook inside out what rules would you change to better the product.?My two main wishes nothing major i would like to have a Brit in the top 5 of every side (ie) Garrity,Auty,Lawson,Bridger,Newman,Wright,Kerr,Starke.And the second one is only one draft rider at reserve with the top 5 changing Monthly.Speedway has been good for me spent quality time with my Dad/uncle there then later on took both of my lads there regularly as well i would not change a thing.

Great news for speedway chuffed for the Coventry fans we might have our new stadium by the year ???? 😅😅😂

I am amazed "Custom Emil had every chance of winning that title no-one else has mentioned that.If Darcy and Emil had been around would Tai have won a title who knows fair play to Tai he took his chance and has the titles in the bag.

If he gets in the Series with organisation a good team around him he has every chance.For me as good as Tai is he is beatable has Emil got the will and commitment that is another matter?For me Emil is a top three rider now just hope Emil and Dudek get in the series the series will then be alot stronger for it.

Well done to Belle Vue a deserved win, this team looks dangerous Jacobs was very good Stevie Worrall after heat 1 looked mighty quick.He now with a good practice must have a squeak of getting a place in the WTC,Cook not convincing tonight even when the track got tricky there was some good racing better than in most weeks.As for the Budgies all is not lost i still think they might get in the four but does it matter this team has no chance of winning the EL.

Mastrup was a very good rider from the back got to be a 6.5 rider in a very tough BL.Funny thing is Steen had a brother called Frank who was a better rider but he never rode league racing in England.

I can remember that he was a very good gater.

Jerzy Trzeszkowski a two time world finalist in 67/68 was getting on a bit when he joined the Budgies.Trzeszkowski/Raba were both released and Gramstad/Mastrup took there places really liked Steen and Rolf great value.

Remember Sumner well yellow and red leathers and as you said had a spoiler in the back wheel.He came with a good reputation apparently had done practice at Wimbledon a few times and was impressive.But he just could not get on the pace and hardly scored a point.Dekeeter Autrey Woods (Who would of)all did well and other Americans followed and we're a real force.When i think of McKnight i put him down in the three riders who never worked out for the Robins.The other two were Leonard Raba and Veijo Tuorniemi
