I would never ever of thought Swindon would be classed as a gaters track.In its heyday England v Usa test matches it was thought of as one of the fairest and best racing tracks in England.I hate to say it but this year that track is a shadow of its former glories some average racing at best.

Loved his White leathers such a smooth style class in everyway.

Last night really brought home to me what a strong individual Darcy really is.To go and hear the bikes warming up seeing the riders strut there stuff must really hurt.He is positive has a lovely women who has been the best and he says he is making great progress great stuff.Pray that in future years treatment is available for him there is real hope.Watching him ride god what a Treat last year was at Swindon he is one of the best riders i have ever seen in my life.And Poole fans who would of seen more of Darcy ride than me would agree on that no doubt whatsoever in my mind that Darcy would of been a World Champion i wish him and Lizzie the best of luck for the future.

Great rider great man, hope he keeps well anough to be comfortable in the rest of his life.That disease is horrendous my wifes dad who is now living with us has early stages of Dementia horrible to see heartbreaking.

You have more chance of getting a new stadium for next year than getting Fricke. Fricke could be Belle Vue's no1 for years to come unless his future commitments GPS? get in the way.

Addio i know the purse strings are tight at every track so your point there is spot on.Also does the noise Health/Safety curfew come into it as well? for me this is why we are not bringing riders through no second halves not enough track time.I work with a Polish lad an ex rider he says tracks over in Poland are open for hours for the young riders to ride and practice.Also they get training on the mechanical side of things as well England as a speedway nation are light years behind.

Were you there ? makes me wonder you have no idea second halves people used to stay In my memory did you never stay? . Holloway,Rossiter,D.Smart, ,K.Smart, Hewlett.and endless others rode speedway by riding second halves i presume you knew that or did you watch heat 13 everyweek and bugger off home? you talk some rubbish Orion .

In the old format we had 13 races plus a second half and usually had decent second half finals.Now on a 15 heat format if the away side is getting smashed heat 15 is irrelevent the top riders have buggered off.The old format 13 races plus a few junior reserve races and a final that was usually pretty good this fifteen heat thing is a myth.

I have said it before would love to see the top riders grace Britain but those days have long gone.Have a plan, balance the books look to the future the riders will be of a lower standard but get the entertainment right speedway will be fine.

Tonight was not to bad a few half decent races pleased for Rohan he rode well and Charles.For the Stars Puk and Lambert really were impressive first time out, but they faded somewhat Busk Jacobsen impressed me ( reminded me so much of Per Sorensen).As for the future these teams Swindon certainly have no chance of winning the league.

This year for me the EL has been a disaster i know the weather has had a huge bearing on things but the fixture planning has been a farce. Weeks in between meetings fans often starved of regular racing what needs to be changed.? i don't know what the answers are though.My thoughts are that there are two ways of doing things get a regular race night sorted out then that allowing GP riders to maybe ride five or 10 meetings a year ( can we afford them?).Or go another way maybe amalgamate the league's, have a lesser type of rider but fans still get regular meetings get more variety and get entertained what do the fans think.?

Belle Vue should build there future around Fricke, i would be amazed if he was aloud to go anywhere.Swindon have messed up in the past they had assets in Magic/Doyley but never used them Belle Vue wont make the same mistake.

I agree this league is knackered big decisions in October/November need to be made.People i know are getting used to not going to speedway have found other ways of spending there money then think twice about going to speedway everyweek.As a home supporter three home meetings every month is about right it is not asking that much is it? in a March/October season.

Great news that Darcy is going to be there i wish him well i think the Stars will be a stern test.Could be a close home win, Lambert / B Jacobsen will be dangerous really looking forward to it.The last Belle Vue meeting seems like it was months ago we have been starved of live racing at the Abbey recently.

The same for me different eras i know, i was never a Hans Nielsen fan more so because of the Ole/Erik/Knudsen incidents also Tai came into that category .But both i ended up changing my mind over, Tai how he kickstarted his career to another level it has been brilliant to see.

After tomorrow night one fixture on the 22nd against Poole then that is it for August.What has happened to the 18th home fixture against Leicester? August with the kids off two meetings in August madness,This year it seems like we have not had a season something has to change in this EL surely.

This Poland side to be honest were not quite on it but were really strong,We were never ever going to beat them, Tai can say that after he was great but the other members did well after all of them having a dodgy start .A great result for the Brits ok the dreaded joker changed the result hate the ruling but they are the rules Britain can be well proud of themselves.

Woffinden looked near unbeatable on the night but it shows how quick Pawlicki can be.Great to see how he let the wheels run across the bend and head right out to the fence.This track does remind me of Hyde Rd in some ways, different in others but this track is a credit to the promotion and to the country.

You odviously don't read all the posts then because i have said i like Adam he has made real progress.If anything SOME Poole fans are Bias and have this everyone hates us notion and are in there little blue bubble.Hope Ellis goes on and improves again if you have a opinion against something does not mean you hate something or someone does it.?
