Macca should be a good meeting going back to Tungate he is going really good at the moment really quick.I went to Scunny on sunday there supporters were brilliant towards Tungate i was amazed good on em.Ipswich i think will win this easily but Scunny are a plucky lot and they will give it there all.
-
What you are missing is other riders were not doing the job either.A scenario put to you just say North was here instead of Tungate this team shape ability is not good enough to reach the play/offs.For me we have no real number 2 back up to Doyley, Nielsen also has punched well above his weight at times. If we reach the play offs say with a couple of changes I would rather have Tungate in the side than Sedgy and Nick people forget there was more than just one crack in this side.
-
Why should Tungate of been replaced? that would not of been the answer we had problems elsewhere in the team as well.At that time for me Tungate,Morris,or Sedgy could of all gone the last six weeks Tungate has been getting it together in both leagues.Maybe there should of been a plan in place so maybe a change / or changes could be made say around the home Kings Lynn meeting now the chance has gone i believe.

Not going on last night it wasn't, beat Doyley on merit. Also Bates has a superior record so far in International speedway you cannot deny that. Ellis he has not even rode Belle Vue has he? also being a gater is not as important at this Belle Vue as there are so many racing lines.Bates in the British Final heat 1 rode Belle Vue well beat Cook took the Champion King a few laps to pass him just think Bates does not get the credit he deserves.

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Sidney the robin replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
My take is that Gavan has something to offer the forum we don't always hit it off but i agree with him also a fair bit.Life would be boring if we all agreed wouldnt it?And my answer for Dazz is Tai will and should be a GB rider for as long as he wants base the team around Tai/Lambert. -
Made a visit to the Wright raceway what a meeting one of the best meetings i have seen for a long long time.Scunny were very good put it up to a superb Somerset side this side will take some beating. For Scunny Auty/Douglas rode there balls off tried hard but often come second best in the first bend drama.Kerr,Toft Wilko,we're great value and god i was well impressed with young Bailey looks a long term prospect style wise reminds me of a young Loram.Somerset so solid as a team even Shuttleworth was unlucky mixed it well a great days racing the track is superb produces great racing.

I was going through all my 1973 programmes and out of the 8 meetings McKnight had 2 points was his highest score. That was against Reading at home, his only point beating the opposition was in heat 1 he beat Richard (Dickie) May.He did score a point at Oxford where he beat his own rider Norman Hunter.

The worst sports commentator/ presenter is Robert Cooper on At the Races cringeworthy.
