Always thought Charlie was a miserable man and was frightened as a young un getting his autograph but he was fine.A really top rider who held his own with the big boys surprised Charlie is only 76 though thought he was around the Ronnie Genz (God bless him) age group.

Will be interesting to know where Anders Rowe goes for his first NL experience.Fingers crossed for the lad be great if could do a Holloway, Rossiter,Hewlett and end up being good anough to be a fully fledged robin.

A better crowd than i anticipated ,the meeting was ok some decent races cant understand why this once great track produces generally average racing.Still love the track the shape but i have to say the last few years racing wise has been very poor.

With Bewley , Blackburn Parkinson, Jack Smith, Brennan, Jenkins unless there is a top class line up dont see many turnng up to watch i hope i am wrong.

Leicester shocked us bigtime earlier in the season so nothing should be taken for granted here.The reserves are a concern for us at the moment and Toft who along with Auty could outscore ours.Saying that Auty has been poor at the Abbey lately so we might get away with it.A home win but this might not be easy i am worried about our reserves and Sedgy fingers crossed we can creep over the line for the playoffs.

Going back to speedway the Belle Vue track is really exciting really has lit up British speedway no home advantage at all.A credit to British speedway what about a big meeting being held there say a big individual meeting.Could be a great weekend i am sure it would be a sell out with the best riders in the world being there.Going back to Carter i am with Sommeiller on this one i will remember Carter more for his riding than the horrendous act he commmited i was thinking god how he would of loved this new Belle Vue track right up his street.

Any dates IF we get in the play/offs ?

New Science now this country is an after thought for all of the top boys when WK ,myself and endless others went to Speedway England was the cream you had to ride in England to be world class those days have gone now.I understand totally why Tai has done what he has done he has done his bit for England but he has to think of himself.Most people in any job have to look after there own interests because in this Dog/eat Dog world no one else will. A bit harsh Jonny me and Gavan are not the best of mates not by any means but he does not always give abuse out.He has alot thrown at him that goes unpunished,but does it matter that much not really.Did you block him because he believed Bates was ahead of your son at this given time of there career's not a crime just a opinion cannot remember him falling out with you beforehand.

Most of the people i know in speedway all like Tai, there are a few on here who dont SO WHAT i am sure he wont loose any sleep over it.He has made mistakes but the people who knock him i believe Tai thinks they are not worth worrying about and i tend to agree with him.

Jonny which way will Adam go again get a PL spot again stay at Poole (he has earned it) or try to get some rides in Denmark,Germany, Sweden,Poland maybe. Thanks for that fair play to you,but some of your remarks are baffling bizarre really.Starke has improved no end this year scored five with a fall in the top five he is a better rider now than he was at Poole.Auty paid eight from four rides come from the back beat Newman twice and picked off Pedersen Summers poor( do you expect more?) a strange report. If they dont ride for Poole they are poor Starke as a example has had a great year a brilliant British Final and has progressed well again.

Be nice if we could have a report on the racing hardly a classic by the sounds of it.Ellis coming along nicely a great effort,what about Leicester were they that woeful.?
