Really pleased for Max Clegg after winning the U19s championship and also the NLRC a great week for Max.He has had some tough times but really has stuck to his task and really has come on leeps/bounds.A bit like Jacobs at Belle Vue Clegg has outscored Howarth at times the same as Jacobs has outscored R.Worrall.Hope Max can progress next year great to see a young Brit improving.

I certainly don't want six man teams and i don't know what other Robins fans think but i don't want Batchelor back on any average.Nick i think needs a new challenge he has the ability and if he is our asset he can always comeback at some stage of his career.Nick,s situation reminds me a bit like what Rolf Gramstad had we all knew he was a good rider he changed scenery and blossomed at Leicester until he has his terrible injury.

The Richard Hall decision a man trying to make a living for himself and the Judgement of Lindback's average how can the sport be taken seriously.Ford i dont blame him he has done nothing wrong at all it is the rules in place that should be scrapped and start again with a blank page. -
A hard season to be honest the fixture programming awful, and most of us knew this side was never good anough.Doyley has been great he joins a list of superb no 1s we have had in our history. To be honest since 2012 the team planning has not been right for me.For 2017 i would like to have Doyley/Bomber as defo starters that leaves five more places up for grabs.

A good man Neil like him alot respect him he has done a great job with the youth set up.But he is not right for this job british speedway is dying a slow death. Why did AJ come in on a 9.05 average yet Lindback comes in on a 7 point average.? -
Doris never paid to get in always over the wall or in with a free pass ashamed to be honest. My mum used to say how could you afford all those programmes and photos and i just said they were going cheap. I always had pocket money so i phobed her off in a way the money i had i always spent it at the Abbey anyway great days.

I hope so is he doing any meetings in the close season? i still think it is going to be very hard for him to be a 9 plus rider in a mega tough PL.

This post is the best post of the day says it all about the pathetic rules in speedway. Also what about young Jordon Jenkins having to miss learning meetings for him as his grandad is worried about him having a high average for next year.Common sense can't speedway be flexible and do what is best for everybody. -
Thing is Tony i don't think Schlein would be a PL number1 now he has had some horrendous injuries what about Bjarne Pedersen dropping back down into the PL? he won't be cheap though.

Sidney the robin replied to Speedwaycrazy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think the Robins can get the point tonight i am very worried about our reserves though.Just hope Nick is on it if we don't make it good luck to Lakeside in the play/offs.Was thinking if we don't make it tonight and Doyley maybe??goes on to be WC there is no home meeting for him to celebrate in front of his home fans. -

Cook has been poor gone backwards in my opinion even in the PL has looked down what did he score in the PLRC? Saying that I predict next year Cook will improve this year certainly at the new Belle Vue he has been very up/down. -

There are loads of people who knock people who stay a d/upper say they lack ambitsion Nick tried something different it has bit him on the bum.Cook another one needs meetings ie) to earn money.Get real need to earn money stay racefit pay the bills a vicious circle really cook and Morris have suffered this year some of it by bad luck. -

1983 Gothenburg world pairs final Billy Sanders had won four races he fell while leading the Muller/Maier partnership.Guglielmi then went on to win the run/off the fall probably robbed the Aussies of winning the title. -
How good was Flood for a year? and what about Dai Evans.!

Atkins after looking nervous in his first race changed something i think looked good won a heat.A couple of times he got close to the bend four fence also he nearly got sucked in on bend 2 won in a time of 71.4 pretty good. The Ayres/Carr race was a cracker a proper duel Ayres just coming out on top.14 year old Anders Rowe had a few laps he looks stylish one to note for the future.

I remember Danny guesting for Coventry two years ago at the Abbey he was totally out of depth.Wow how much has Danny improved for me he would score more than Stefan at this time since coming back from injury Stefan has struggled. -

A really good point there Birmingham have a very good side but it is not a shorterm team just there to win it has riders that have promising futures in the sport.I watched NL racing last night for the first time since 2004 (conference) tell you what it has improved it was really surprising i enjoyed the meeting very much.
