People always give Ford alot of credit for his sucess over the years (wont mention the fiddling😂😜) and yes he deserves that bigtime. But on the other hand he has created a few poor teams over the years and his judgement on certain riders not the best saying that he has got alot more right than wrong.
-
Not a great way of picking the troops up, it would be better to of kept his feelings to himself kept it in house. Also FORD should have a look in the mirror he picked the side he is 80 per cent to blame most of us on here knew this side with K.K in it never looked good anough.

I believe Bristol would be an attractive venture Reading,Swindon, Somerset, Oxford fans would go also if promoted right try to encourage a new younger viewer the crowds i believe will never be a problem there.

Swindon V Poole Thurs 27/07/

I do think we have alot of Swindon fans on here me included who are very wary of tonight all the good work done lately could be undone if it is disaster tonight. As long as the riders put in 100 per cent thats all i ask and hopefully we get entertained along the way i am happy. One thing for sure is Rosco wont allow us to get beat because of COMPLACENCY that wont happen. -

Certainly a better gater smudge was not the best, i think Belle Vue should be able and should keep Bewley and Smith in 2018. -

Surely you dont expect that much more? -
Why "Gazc"..??

I dont see him ever being a no 1 to inconsistent for me away very useful dont see him averaging more than 7.2 overall in a tough Championship. Are you serious Nielsen will do well to replace the older version of Wilko.

This should be a really close affair and a hard one to call i believe Poole really offer a massive threat tomorrow night and i would be happy with a home win.Poole for me with there home track being really poor look alot better away from home but Kennett/Worrall are the key if Poole are going to run the Robins close.I just think Kennett/Worrall/Lahti are all vulnerable and have question marks against them so i predict the Robins to keep there run going just hope the weather relents.

If Bristol came back at a new site in Bristol ( i loved the potential that the old Bristol track had) what sort of crowds would they expect to get..?

Stick with Smith and longterm someone will reap the rewards hopefully Belle Vue, i would imagine Smith next year will be sought after on his low average.Fair play to Belle Vue they have a great tradition of giving youth a chance and if Smith can get his 3/4 he has done his job this year is a massive learning curve for Jack. -
Nicki Pedersen Injured.

I dont think anybody hates him and yes he will be missed maybe he was a bit over zealous at times but yes the series does miss him.Whateve he does in the future i wish him well in overall he has helped to bolster the sports profile everyone loves a villain. -

He would of been my reserve at the WTC just for the experience if anything, for me he is the best under 21 rider along with Lambert that we have.Be interesting what path he goes on next year as he wont do the three leagues i suppose?Be nice if Belle Vue get him on a longterm contract so there is the stability there for both Belle Vue is the club to develop him into a international rider. My prediction is when he gets his consistency of gating right he will take a hell of alot of beating at the new Belle Vue in the future exciting times for Belle Vue and England. -

This forum means nothing and most of the people i know within speedway do not agree with your stance on the subject there is always two sides to a story not just one. -

I think you are in a small minority with your Tai bashing surely Cardiff showed you that???? look both parties have made mistakes a compromise should be met. -

Tungate i have always liked he has underachieved in alot of ways but last night until heat 15 was brilliant looked for his team mate at every chance.I was disappointed the Robins didn't get him back but we pulled Musielak out the bag ( who is a talent). What struck me about Tungate last night at times he didn't look the quickest but he rode some great racing lines his cutback on Lindgren was terrific. And when he out bustled Masters in one ride Tungate will be along with others very important in Belle Vue's title push. -
Chris our league is hanging on in there hard times ahead but i have enjoyed alot of meetings this year and it is not all doom and gloom. Also in the NL we have some fine young riders coming through so there is hope hopefully some of those will be the future of British Speedway.

Really enjoyed last night some really close racing and a deserved home win Tungate was excellent value.Bewley impresses me everytime i see him a great riding style that suits that great racetrack to a tea. What i like about Bewley is he really has a racing brain and thinks about where he is taking his lines not just a wind it on merchant. But for me his biggest strength is his temperment looks very level headed and i am convinced he will go from strength to strength.Smith again a different sort of rider and if Belle Vue stick with him longterm he will be a asset Perks for Wolves you had to feel for he had rode well to a expensive night for him. -
Some great pictures there of Crumpy,Danny Kennedy ,Mike Lee i went to the Daily Mirror first meeting what a crowd the place was buzzing.

In one apart from Manchester who has a decent stadium? i only care about British speedway so what would you propose to do with British speedway.? Myself i would like one big league with riders who want to ride in our leagues the days of top riders like Mauger/Olsen are long gone.I cant see any attraction of riding in Britain now for a GP star apart from a month or so for extra pocket money.
-
You see a different vision to me then and there are youngsters coming through ie i can name 6/8 Brits who are promising who could be the future. It is a MYTH about these GP stars making things better i think you are in your own little bubble with your own dreams that are pie in the sky.NL racing i have seen a bit and they have put on a good show and people have been entertained that shows it is the entertainment and value for money that matters.GP riders look i see Doyle everyweek what a pleasure it is but not every club now can afford one or two GP riders the money is not there. The series has killed our league it dictates our fixture list my preference would be to have one big league forget GP riders and employ riders who really want to be here spending money you haven't got is not an option.
-
Who pays for these GP riders ?? you are in cloud cookoo land those days are long gone and why would riders ride here rather than in Poland and Sweden. If Doyle is WC i recon he wont ride next year in the UK for me i would build British Speedway without the Gp riders reinvent the league build to the future.
